I think it is very worthwhile sharing my experience of working at BJN on here. Hopefully it will help you decide on where is best for you to go for your consultation. I feel very lucky that I was able to spend 4 months at BJN for my placement semester (short Praktikant-period) as part of my University degree. Although I was only there for a short time, from the start I got so much attention by the entire team who fed me with all their clinical skills and knowledge. I can only speak for the Orthotic side, i.e. insoles, foot wear, ankle and knee braces, spinal corsets etc.: Most of what I have seen, I have rarely seen at other places and its successful use by the customer made me leave this innovative place quite overwhelmed. I am not sure where else Bandagists take so much of their time to allow testing of different braces to make sure the customer ends up receiving the care he/she needs and desires. Instead of deciding for you, different options are being explained to you and testing made possible if wished. Follow up appointments and making changes as needed are available to make sure everything is working the way it should. I am not trying to advertise and make you choose BJN over other Bandagists, as I am now back in the UK. I have not been to other places in Copenhagen or Denmark in general, so I cannot compare. However, BJN offered me a great learning experience and showed me what is possible in the world of medical and supportive aids. As the team did for me, I know for sure they will make you reach your full potential, too.
