Hi I purchased a car from Josh and the team and they made the experience really friendly sorting any concerns and all the paperwork and after a week I had a minor issue with the air conditioning and Josh and the team have been brilliant at assisting in sorting it out with the warranty a1 and I cannot thank the team enough I would recommend them and this is the first review I have done so well done to Josh and the team at barbourne car sales

My daughter just brought a car from Barbourne car sale, we spoke to Josh,which he very good, because she look at one but it was to small, so he showed her another which was the right size, it was perfect for what she needed it for, we collected it just after the new year, he told us you get the A A. With the car for 12 months, which good, which you doesn't get with a lot car sales.
It is very family business and just shows

what went wrong, i made a mistake brought this car from you , taken it back to you four time ,didn't know when i brought it , it had a oil leak, each time i sent it back to you , you have made it worse , with comments from you ok it's ok now, should not have got this car, i know you not interested i what i have purchased and i know you would not have the car back and give me full refund , had this from you 8/9/2025 having to go else where to get the had brake and oil leak fixed not happy would not recommend you to buy any car

AVOID,,I brought a car from this place seemed fine at first then as the warranty ran out i started having problems with the exhaust so got that fixed, then the cat started playing up so im having to save for that and now every time i drive in the rain water goes into to bonnet and onto the engine and makes it stall and now just noticed all my carpet is wet. so im stuck with a car that ive got to pay for another 3 or 4 years and cant afford to get it fixed and im a single mom with 2 kids and the one has autism. thanks alot

Would recommend. Got the car at a fair price some time ago now. Professional sales process. Did lots of test drives. Not a lot of maintenance - so far.
Glad I hung onto it as overall happy with it.

Clutch went within 2 days of purchase which they repaired with warranty after costing us £120 to get it there, went again 3 weeks later. They refused to honour their warranty blaming my husband who has been driving for over 50 years. I would urge people to think twice before giving them your custom.

Bought a Honda CRV for my daughter from Barbourne Car Sales Ltd three months ago, the break ceased on the motorway after picked it up and had to bring it home on tow truck. My garage diagnosed brake cylinder failure and £300 spent to get it right. A week later the accelerator regulator failed, another AA tow truck and £500 garage bill to get it right which is still not right. The car has now developed Diff noise at alleged not even 80000 miles and has ever since been in garage. Not bad sale for a one owner, low mileage and service history?!!! Contacted the seller re problem only being told if you sent me the bill, I get the warranty company to sort it. I am still waiting and appear to be a wall of silence since. Not an unusual behaviour for a used car dealer
