It is a horrível experience, they never have fries ready and it is always at least 10 mins of waiting.

I have been a loyal customer at the Cardiff restaurant for years, staff have always been friendly & helpful and food has been great. Tonight they have lost me as customer.

I ordered a veggie classic, which was served with mainly rice. I politely asked for a little bit more veg, as there was barely any beans and only about 6 x thin slices of mixed peppers and stringy onion on there. The manager, who was doing something else, jumped in and said very rudely that what was on there was a portion - honestly the portion of veg in the veggie classic was pitiful. He said if I wanted more I’d have to pay £1, but if what I had was considered a portion, it wasn’t worth £1 plus the rudeness was appalling.

I was tempted to leave the the restaurant at that point, but I’m never rude and was so taken aback by the lack of customer care I just proceeded and paid.

Later I contacted the company on instagram, as I was so offended by the service and lack of quality of the food. They apologised via messenger and asked me to complete a feedback form, which would have been great, except their website makes it near impossible to access the form or contact them for anything!

So tonight was my last visit to Bar Burrito Cardiff or anywhere. I paid almost £9 for a veggie wrap that was mainly rice, which came with a side of very rude service from the person who should have known better in there.

I honestly am so sad to say that I will not be recommending this restaurant to anyone from now on and certainly will not be taking my business there again.

It’s very sad to post this review as it’s always been an amazing place to eat and our go-to place to grab a wrap. I’m not sure if the staff/management have changed, but it certainly leaves a lot to be desired.

Terrible food and terrible management.

Bland and overpriced.
£10 for enough dry chicken and rice to fill a teacup. No real flavour to it, no sauces offered. My cooking is terrible but this experience made me wish I'd gone home to eat.
Extra disappointing because it's been really good in the past.

I have just had worst experience in Barburrito Trafford centre. I ordered Veg bowl. A little way through there was a clump of hair.
I took to the Manager. Offered refund and apology. Feel sick every time I think of it.
How has this got a food hygiene rating of 5!!!

I ordered through deliveroo- it came quick and the burrito was warm. The fillings were good and the burrito was good. Not the best I 've had but not the worst. A bit pricey though.

BarBurrito is possibly my favourite and most regular fast food restaurant, I love spicy food and they always hit the spot 🤤

Every time I've been to the Liverpool One restaurant I'm always happy with the service and the food 🙂
I always get a free burrito from them for my birthday which is a great loyalty bonus and their points system is really good as well, either use your points early on a side or wait a few more visits and use your free burrito coupon 😃

I've been going to this same restaurant for years as it's the only one near me and judging by other reviews, I'm glad I have one of the good ones 👍🏻

Barburrito are ridiculously stingy with all of their fillings, it’s as if they tell the staff it’s coming out of their wages. I have been to several Barburrito’s across the UK (unfortunately they are one of the few that do a decent vegetarian burrito hence me going back) I most recently ordered a Barburrito to a hotel during a work trip, they completely forgot the sour cream, salsa and cheese, leaving me with a wrap full of rice and fake chicken. Unless you are stood in front of them while they make it, it just isn’t worth it.

Really wanted to enjoy this, not been before. Ordered the California Burrito,... No fries inside as promised, therefore disapointing, less filing, and sloppy to eat... Ouch... If you can't prepare it properly, don't put it on the menu. Esp at £10 a pop. You'd be better off keeping it simple and performing well.

By chance, I thought I’ll have something different for lunch today (17/11/2022). Went for the classic regular burrito. Do not even bother. By the time I walked the two minute distance back to my office, it cooled down considerably and the worst bit, it’s the soggiest and tasteless burrito I have ever had. £9.45 went straight in the bin. And to top it off, got charged an extra £0.50 for mushrooms (that was flagged by the sales person) and an extra £1.00 for guacamole!! The guacamole should be included in the pile. I’m pretty sure our Mexican friends wouldn’t touch this place with a barge pole :/

Annoyed, and HUNGRY, is an understatement.

Awful service staff do not listen and food quality poor and expensive. Won't be going there again. I sent an email to customer service via the app and have not had any response.

Paid nearly £30 for two burritos and a drink with quite unhelpful staff! When we where eating them you can tell the quality has gone down hill but the price had certainly increased - the meat was really bland and tasted like thigh meat and when further inspected the chicken looked pink and almost raw! I decided not to eat the rest of mine. Waste of money and now feeling rather Ill. Will not be going here again (had informed the staff of my meal and they said they had got quite a lot of complaints about the chicken as thigh meat does look pink but this 100% was undercooked!!)
