The departments handling customer service and complaints engage in a cyclical exchange of grievances rather than pursuing a resolution to the issue, with no willingness to assume accountability or rectify the matter. My 10k pounds I deposited with them, derived from my profits with the esteemedVou wallet company, still remain untouched.

As a Barclays bank account holder, I expected better customer service support from them. My payment schedule was changed during the application process which wasn't what I originally selected. A call to request a change to this was unsuccessful, I spoke with an advisor who sounded embarrassed that she had to tell me there was nothing that could be done, other than talk to someone about my finances, I asked for a change of schedule, not for advice on money matters.

Each time I get told there is an error, I will receive an email in 24 hours, then nothing happens.

Terrible company. They financed me a phone at age 19 that I couldn’t afford, no problem, instant! Financially penalised me all the time.

I’m now 25, very good credit score, savings, no accounts overdrawn.. & I’m declined at Apple? Also madly embarrassing.

I called BPF 0800 number to ask why, and was told “I can’t tell you why exactly, it would probably be best if you contact the credit reference agencies (Equifax, Experian) INDIVIDUALLY to see if there’s any mistakes on your reports, such as the spelling of your name or address.” I can see it all on my phone. There’s no mistakes on my reports.. what a load of crap.

A bit ridiculous really, so I’ve just had searches added to my credit report for no reason.

Waste of time and effort. They approved me for 3k credit, I've purchased up to £300 on Amazon but last 3 months the monthly limits that I could go to are automatically getting adjusted to whatever I'm paying that month which makes the offer redundant and useless. There were no changes in my finances from the time they approved first few purchases but customer service is useless and won't acknowledge there is any possibility for an error in the process.

I have £80 left to pay and it won't let me make any further purchases.

Incredibly patronising discussion with collections. With no support to customers to assist, only to reclaim money. “We’re here to help if you’re having financial difficulties” is their letter statement, and offer no help at all but they are all about “educating” - that’s seriously what he said “he’s educating me” that it would inversely affect credit report. Didn’t even ado why. Awful company with dreadful support policies which should not be used by large companies.

I purchased an iPhone through Apple using Barclays Partner Finance and it was really quick, easy and painless. I had a query regarding the balance end date but I got straight through to customer services and they were wonderful, really helpful. I’m quite shocked at the negative reviews, I’ve been using BPF for the past six years and can honestly say I’ve never had an issue with them.

I would put 0 if I could. Awful company. Declined my loan for a new kitchen for no reason and could not explain why. Useless underwriter could not work out my monthly pay when it came in 3 installments. All you have to do is total it. Avoid if you can!

Total waste of time having this facility. My account £3K limit £1K monthly payment limit then refused on a £109 item from Amazon. Spoke with their so called customer service team to be told try again in a few days, do these refusals not have an adverse impact on my credit score. Thanks Barclays .....

If I could give zero stars I would. Tried to order a bike on 0% via Tredz website on Saturday morning. It's now Monday, just spent 20 mins on the phone with them as the agreement document is not available to sign in their portal. Only to be told to wait another 24 hrs. In the meantime bike I wanted is gone... Now fighting them and tredz to cancel finance. Absolute joke...

Do not use this service, it is probably the most difficult company to contact. Their telephone answering system loops, it gives you 4 options the last one being something else, if you choose this option it asks you a question which if you respond “no” it goes back to the previous 4 options. I am sure that the system is designed so that you end up not paying the balance before interest starts. Do not buy from anybody that uses this company.

BPF have been offering 0% finance on selected Apple products for a number of years now. When when purchasing big ticket items from Apple both my wife and I have taken advantage of various offers. We have both bought iPhones, iPads and a single iMac too. It was a no brainier!

The application process was simple and in all five instances a decision was given immediately. One can only conclude from reading the various reviews that many of us who are successful applicants and become BPF customers, fail to advertise our satisfaction. Conversely, a failed applicant is far more likely to offer a scathing review rather then admit their own poor credit rating.

Applied for a 2 years 0 % finance on a £3000.00 loan for a new kitchen from wrens have excellent credit score no ccjs have a credit card with Barclays for years

Self employed sole trader they requested a SA302 evidence of earnings and they received

The above is still not enough they asked for two bank statements from my current account thought they needed to see all direct debits paid etc they received

Still not enough they want more I have had enough I'm not applying for a mortgage just a simple loan that at the moment they won't give and no guarantee I will get certainly after reading these reviews had I have read them first would not of bothered applying for a loan

A complete waste of time I will cancel my Barclays card they can have that back

Barclays get your act together and stop treating people the way you do !

They messed up my account and credit file, but their Complaint Team managed to sort it out after I raised a concern to the debt management company sent by them.

Have an active account with Barclays Partner Finance with around £1,600 of available credit available to me (£1,400 used). First started using in 2022. No missed payments or adverse credit on my file since I opened the account. Randomly, I am no longer able to purchase anything via Amazon/Barclays BNPL. No explanation given other than “we’ve used info from your credit reports”. What, the credit report that’s exactly the same as before when you were perfectly fine to open the account?

Wow, accepted for amazon installments credit limit of 1500 or 370 a month..
Needed to change part of the order so cancelled the item, to reorder..well within the budget I've been given...turned down..OK must still have original item going through wait a couple of days...try again, turned down..contact Barclays Cardiff call centre no issues their end,they say to give it a couple of days as Amazon may not have updated the account...she can see i have a 1500 credit limit, now constant rejection from barclays phone them up, Indian call centre you don't fulfill the criteria anymore..Try paypal pay In three, now that's rejected...This company has destroyed my credit rating in the space of 4 days...

I bank with Barclays, have a credit card with Barclays, never miss payments, have an excellent credit score, have been approved finance for numerous cars, yet BPF decline my application for a £700 iphone! Absolute joke.
