I am extremely disappointed with their customer service. Ma order was made on June 14th. They use snail-mail for delivery and upon checking the status I noticed, the package was marked as undeliverable due to damage and when I contacted them, June 23rd, they claimed it was on the way. In a few days I contacted them again, they said I need to wait for the NL Post investigation and even though I asked them to have the package returned to them considering everything, they in a few days notified me that the package is on it's way to me. I received a repackaged package (by Post NL) which I did not open and I just sent it back via their return service. Here there was no option to use snail - mail but only DPD which is more expensive. They received my package on July 14th, today is July 22nd and they are still investigating my return in order to reimburse me. Upon my request for update (in eng) they simply replied in Dutch that they are working on it. I just never expected this from a European Company. I will update my review once this saga is finished.
Addition: Today 23rd July, I received an email in Dutch that they have checked the package and that because the original box was missing, they will deduct 7,5 EUR from my reimbursement. They are unable to even follow their own process and the fact that their carrier Post NL has repackaged the package because they damaged it, meanwhile I never even opened it. I replied with these fact and stated I want a full refund (nevermind that I'm also paying for the shipping that was delayed and damaged the goods and they never offered to at least cover the return shipping). Their service is getting worse with every email.
And the finalisation of the saga. On July 26th they replies (they managed to do it in English this time) that they apologise that they forgot about the NL Post incident and they will give me a full refund. Of course it didn't occur to them to maybe at least offer to cover 1 way postage considering all the hassle. So today, July 28th I'm able to see in my mobile bank that the refund has been started with Paypal.
You can make your own conclusions but for me, this is a shameful way to do business.
Very good customer service (and pricing) but one thing makes me wonder: out of three pairs of shoes ordered, two were defective within the warranty period. Could this mean something about their stock?
They don’t do returns. Even if they say 30 days they will just waste your time with a stupid process that doesn’t work. You can contact customer service if you want to waste some more time.
I had given 1 star because they were not posting the negative reviews I did on a terrible Freet shoe. They responded, and it seems my review is now posted. For now, I increase the review to 3-stars, and will increase it even further next year. I know some stars do not really matter, but I really believe in this shop, because other than that it was excellent and unique in the industry, as already mentioned! Original 1-star review: """Website doesn't show negative shoe reviews. That's not a bug. I specifically did 2 1-star reviews for a very bad shoe that I bought from the shop, Freet Flex. They never appeared on the website. The service and delivery of the shoes was excellent. I put 1 star to draw attention. If you ignore the review problem the shop is excellent. Thanks!"""
After checking out the website and finding at least 6 pairs of shoes I liked, I decided it was better to visit the store instead to get good advice on the right sizing etc. My husband went with me and we both walked out of the store with a pair of shoes we loved. The amount of effort the lovely employee at the store put into finding us the exact right pair was incredible. She was so helpful and motivated, very rare to experience this kind of service. Also, there's just so many options, it was well worth the 1,5 hour drive (both ways) for us. So we will definitely be back here for summer shoes next year!
I was always satisfied with shoes (that fit exactly according measuring table provided to each brand), delivery and also retour for models that I did not like.
