Non existent quality control and silencing of any criticism

Bark River Knives do have really nice designs. I also really like the handleshapes they do but there are glaring issues.
First of all there seems to be absolutely no interest in doing any quality control. They regularly ship out stuff that should never get through qc. Also they are severely burning the edges as they refuse to properly cool the blades while grinding. There have also been several occasions in the past where they mislabeled the steel as some higher quality pm steels that were actually just a2 when tested.
They do not accept any criticism and just blame the customers and try to gaslight them.
Everyone who is slightly critical about the shotty product being delivered for a premium price gets silenced by deleting posts, comments and kicking them from the official group.
This alone speaks for itself.

Terrible fit and finish quality

Terrible fit and finish quality. 300+ dollar handmade knife should be flawless, these are not even close. Everyone I have spent my money on comes mis-shaped or the blade is messed up. Spend your money with a true custom maker and save your self a couple of hundred bones and get better. Craftsmanship is a joke to this company it seems.

The knife they sendt me broke big…

The knife they sendt me broke big chunks of the edge when I was chopping some thin branches. The heat treatment is way off. The want me to send the knife back but I have to pay for shipping, I live in Norway and the shipping will cost me more then just buying a knife from a company that knows what quality control means. A quick Google search will show you that this is a horror story of a company. Unfortunately I didn't do enough research before buying from them.

BRK make great knives

BRK make great knives. Convex grind is very difficult, but BRK knives are made by perfect convex grind. Many masterpiece are made by Mike Stewart and Jim Stewart and crew. I recommend to visit dealers site (DLT Trading or Knife Ship Free).
