Barnham Broom Reviews 3

We took advantage of the Lazy Sunday deal over the May bank holiday. It was £250, which included a 3 course dinner, breakfast (including continental and something cooked from the kitchen), a complimentary room upgrade and 2 x passes for the leisure facilities. The location of Barnham Broom is great, close enough to the city if you wish to venture that way and there are lots of lovely walks close by too. All of the food was delicious and presented to a high standard. I especially liked the granola station at breakfast, never seen that before and thought it was a great idea! We had a lovely stroll round the golf course after dinner as well and watched the sunset, it was bliss. The gym had a good set of amenities and the pool was a decent size too. Customer service both during and after our stay has also been top notch. We only live a few miles up the road, but we will return for another staycation in the future. Thanks for having us.

So why the 1 star? Because I can't give minus. We spent a fortune for 1 night with treatments and like above everything was amazing until we finished our treatments. We where in our robes and had to walk through a busy Sports Bar where there where drunk golfers. Walking through my wife got wolf whistled and comments made at her. She then refused to go through and we had to walk outside the hotel in our robes to get to the health club. When we told reception they knew EXACTLY who the people where and they said it happens to the staff. Clearly there has been previous incidents yet they still allow this to go on. It ruined what should have been a special occasion for us. You dont spend £700 to get harassed. Pretty poor. Never coming back.

We went to a wedding at this wonderful venue on Saturday. The staff were amazing they really couldn’t do enough to make it a special day. The food was second to none. Well done to everyone involved. You all made a beautiful day even more special. X
