This company are advertised on the internet as based in Grange Over Sands which is 6 miles from our house. I tried to order a taxi today over the phone to go to Grange Over Sands Railway Station for an elderly pensioner travelling in a few days time. They quoted me 60 pounds for those 6 miles which works out at 10 per mile. When I rang back to enquire why the price was so high they said they were not actually based in Grange Over Sands but in Barrow some 25 miles away and the cost was to come from there. So why are they advertising as based in Grange Over Sands if they have no local cab service there. So then I checked their website which is a mess and does not give a price for a fair but does give a booking line. So you can book the cab and then pay by card in the car but cannot get a price online before you book. Honestly, if I was a millionaire I would not use this company ever. As far as I am concerned the entire set up is a scam on the public and imagine hiring a taxi you thought was base 6 miles away and getting into the car only to be charge 60 poinds when you arrive 6 miles down the road. Their site is mainly aimed at corporate as far as I can see or block bookings but if I was the head of a big company I would not be encouraging this cab company by using them.
