Super cool experience

Super cool experience! from start to end

I had a session with Bille, very helpful with the exercises and reading the ppl in the room.

The changing room are awesome, you have towels, shampoos, body lotion, everything you need, modern and sleek.

Being able to reserve your smoothie after the workout or shower is also a cool feature, those details matters a lot!

I’ll highly recommend to try - the workout is not for everyone, you need to be sharp, follow instructions and be very active! Huge energy with the loud music and with Bille on the mic motivating you!

Think twice before buying Barry’s Gift Cards

I purchased what the card said “gift card” during their holiday sale. What I discovered is that if you don’t use all sessions before the year ends the remaining session will disappear from your account without any warning or indication . This year. I lost 100 sessions (almost $3000) without a warning. When confronted I was told they’re too busy to notify members of their upcoming expired “gift cards” and automating their computer system to send an email warning as such is too much work. I leave this review with 86 remaining session from another “gift card” and risk that they’ll steal the value of those as well. The initial feedback I got from staff who knew me well was “tough, that’s our policy”. After Many conversations with GM, a torte lawyer, reviewing their legal documents, I would need to go to arbitration to cause Barry’s any policy change. Only if I can find additional members in California's whose passes just disappeared like mine. I eventually got Barry’s Corporate office to reimburse me for the 100 classes they removed from my account but I have 86 remaining. They refused this until hours of conversations and many emails and what they call “above and beyond” exception even though 2019 -2024 they always refunded me the unused portion. This is a 2025 rule. I started with many more sessions then I could use a year to help staff reach their sale #s as I considered them family. (Also knowing i would get cashed out if not used). I brought 6-9 new members to them and according to their accounting system I spent 27k since 2019. Please be careful .. Their success has gone to their corporate head. I had to plead to get my money back. Had every intention of buying the “gift card” Christmas gifts I give but decided to no longer support gym. I will use my last classes (unless they remove them because of this post)and call it a day.

Breach of Data and protection be very carful.
Report to information commissioner's office if anyone has experienced this. Had a call from someone called Channie (honey) I believe is her nick name. Asking for me to join her new business adventure. I asked were she got my information from she said Barry’s computer. I feel violated and really upset. Company don’t seem to be doing anything about it so had to go over there heads and report them to the information commissioner's office

Barry’s is honestly the perfect place…

Barry’s is honestly the perfect place for anyone who wants to train effectively in a short time and really feel the results! The energy, the music, and the professionalism of the coaches make all the difference.

Today’s class with Amélie was incredible
she was absolutely amazing! I loved her energy and motivation, and she really made me push myself. You can feel how powerful and well-designed the workout is.

Definitely the kind of training everyone needs instead of spending hours at the gym without results. Highly recommended! 🔥💪

I want to give this place zero

I want to give this place zero, Nada, zilch but sadly 1 is the minimum.
It is an awful place start to finish.
Poor customer service, terrible communication, body and fat shaming ppl who want to improve their health, cruel and unkind attitude.

I had heard big things about it and wanted to get back to a fitness regime.

I can only imagine ppl bigging it up must receive some kind of payment, but you couldn't pay me to go back there.

Just a terrible and weird narcissist attitude from staff and teachers, the stuff that puts ppl off from gyms.

Poor hygiene too in loos and changing areas and poor cleanliness on the floors.

AVOID!

Genocide complicit

Barrys bootcamp does not support the wellbeing of their customers, horrible mistreatment. In fact they support genocide and the killing of innocent lives. Avoid at all costs if you dont wish to be treated with disrespect.

Complicit Bullies

It is disheartening to learn that an institution that is supposed to support health and promote the importance of being healthy is fundraising for IDF efforts in Israel. This seems quite counterintuitive in every sense.

Barry’s is a global brand with many locations, even in the U.S. They are making profits off numerous marginalized groups throughout the world. I believe many of these groups would not appreciate knowing that Barry’s supports the killing of innocent mothers and children, while Palestinians are now suffering from famine.

If you choose to spend your time and money at Barry’s, you are complicit in this situation. We all have responsibilities, and one of them is making choices that reflect our values.

Barry’s can continue to believe whatever they want, but they should stop sending resources to those who commit violence and terror. They are part of the problem and are far from being part of the solution. It’s important to show respect for the people and communities you serve, especially outside of Israel.

Genocide enablers 🤢

Barry’s London hosted a fundraiser in January 2024 supporting UJIA, linked to Israeli settlements, the IDF, and birthright trips. We should all be boycotting this genocidal company, since it directly supports the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians

Barry's Bootcamp supports genocide

Barry's Bootcamp supports genocide

Would you trust a place to train that fundraises for a country that kills children?
Barry's bootcamp fundraises to send people to Israel whilst they commit genocide.
Watch out folks! They support a violent regime. Not the kind of place I would want to go for wellbeing!!!
