Terrible service and damaged the carpet

I thought that a service that was more expensive than taking my rug to a dry cleaner was that of experience and a much higher level.

First off there was 2 missed collections. When the rug was collected there was a complaint that it was dusty... yes that's right the person collecting a carpet to be cleaned complained it was needing cleaned. So not a great start.

After this the rug was returned damaged. My girlfriend was told the rug "was like that and it's not our fault" although covered in orange marks, bits of grass and feeling like it was coated in a dried soap.

I contacted them and that where it all went from bad to worse. I was told it cotton "browning" and "it happens", that my girfriend has been offered a re-clean ... etc etc .. Then I discover pictures sent to me of evidence of how well cleaned it had been ended up promoting their business on facebook. I asked for them to be removed.. silence. Any call, not answered and instantly a text back. The option given was a working hours drive 1hour to their actual address in fife, not the residential address they use for accounting by the looks of it.

Long story short. A £400 rug is wrecked. There's no come back and I'm to blame. A model of customer service of the lowest form.

I will also say since this happened I've noticed more and more recently there's a lot of negative reviews popping up over their general customer care and handling of things. Avoid them like the plague and goto someone else.
