Baselang is an amazing concept that is very well organized. I love that the website is so easy to use. It is amazing that I can book a lesson one minute before taking it. And the teachers are great.

Their system works very well, allowing you to schedule lessons whenever you want. You can also schedule with a favorite teacher and this allows you to learn with the same person. I have really enjoyed this experience so far - 2 months in.

Fantastic experience, so thankful for the help of Baselang to take me from a beginner to intermediate speaker so quickly, building my confidence along the way. I've been using Baselang for two years or so. There's usually always a teacher available. I like the curriculum and how easy it is to keep track of your learning. Most of the teachers are professional and friendly. Overall, it's a way to make sure you speak Spanish frequently with a native speaker.

I've been using baselang for just over 2 weeks. I have started pretty much from scratch and have already almost finished level 1, this is all thanks to the incredible teachers I've had and the program itself. The lessons are well laid out, have loads of practice exercises and the app is easy to use.

The customer service is also really good. Can't recommend enough!

The teachers are motivating and they are very flexible. The content is thorough and the nature of the one-on-one classes equips you to move quickly through the material and practice Spanish conversationally.

Love the flexibility and the options for lessons

One to one instruction and the chance to speak Spanish even in this irst struggling period is so important to gaining conidence that the work of the lessons is paying of.

While some of the lessons and exercises have some absurd pairings and it is difficult to get inside the logic . I find it important to push through and not get impatient with the practice each lessson offers.

This one of the best choices if you want to be conversational in spanish. Be aware it is not shortcut it still hard work but imo the most proficient way to learn the language at south american culture

I told Angelica my concerns and expectations for my future instruction. I shared my desire to improve in key areas. She immediately devised a lesson to address these concerns that was instructive, helpful and targeted to my needs. She is very helpful and professional and I look forward to progressing under her direction.

Fabulous experience - zoom with teachers! Go at your pace through the curriculum, relaxed fun conversation as you like as well. Teachers are friendly, positive and enthusiastic. Jump starting my rusty Spanish skills after just a few weeks.

Finally someone got it right. The big thing we need is be able to speak naturally not only lesson you have that option with baselang. There are different payment options for every budget (I am a single mom so that helps). You can use the lesson plan or freestyle (solo conversations of your choice) Variety of teachers all nice so far. Big thanks to Juan E. he is a great teacher. I love learning about diff. cultures.

The first teacher this evening talked at a faster pace than I had hoped for, but I began to realize that I could understand most of what he was saying and came to appreciate his faster pace. The second teacher was the first BaseLang teacher I have ever had who understood what I needed. He slowed down his speaking enough that it made me work some, but gave me the thrill of being in a Spanish conversation! I enjoyed my hour of BaseLang and look forward to many more hours of it with these two teachers.

Well way to improve you Spanish conversations

I took the Beginner Bootcamp at Baselang (intensive format with 4 hours per day) and was absolutely thrilled. It was well-structured, motivating and I made clear and fast progress — exactly what you would want from an immersive language program.

That’s why I enrolled in the Intermediate Bootcamp afterwards, but unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. While the teachers were kind and capable of explaining grammar, there was little to no preparation, no personalized structure and I was often left to suggest topics or activities myself. Videos and texts were usually selected during the lesson, not before. My specific weak points were not systematically addressed. Furthermore, there was also a lack of positive feedback — I rarely received confirmation when I used grammar correctly, which left me unsure whether I was actually improving or not.

For more advanced learners (B1 or above), what’s really needed is a teacher who comes prepared, identifies areas for improvement, and actively guides the student. That didn’t happen here. As a result, my motivation — which had been very high — dropped significantly.

Bottom line:
The Beginner Bootcamp is excellent and highly recommended.
The Intermediate Bootcamp lacks structure and personalization and is not suitable for advanced learners. At that point, you’d be better off finding a dedicated private teacher who can prepare lessons and support your individual learning goals.
