As a long time user (10+) years, this site is operated to perfection by those who run it. An excellent service is offered should you have an technical issues and the team are all very passionate about what they do. The moderators have excellent judgement and the discussion forums are often a source of both great comedy and debate. All round and excellent website and a true place for bassists of the world!

An excellent website without a commercial agenda. The admin staff are very amiable and I have always had friendly helpful responses with a side dish of good humour.

A great site where I've made many friends over the years, sold and bought bass stuff and generally have a good laugh at some of the daft stuff. Highly recommended, even for guitards..

Best of all, they aim to keep the site fair friendly - either due to the amount of trolls out there or keeping people safe. Great ethics.

There are a lot of great things about Basschat; the variety of topics that are discussed on the forum, the sense of community and the trust that has built up and, of course, the massive pool of knowledge about all thing bass.
Moderation is light-touch but effective and Support has always been excellent. I’ve only had to use it two or three times but I’ve always had a very prompt response and any issues resolved straight away.
At a time when social media seems to be becoming ever more divisive and less tolerant, I consider BassChat to be one of the ‘safe spaces’ on the internet.

I was a member for quite a few years. There was a recent issue with racism, so I will no longer use the site.

I had a problem with my yearly subscription as it didn't work without a PayPal account linked to a credit card. As I stopped linking my PayPal to my credit card for personal reasons just before my renewal, I explained it to the support team. And within 10 minutes I was able to pay my yearly subscription.

Member since 2008 and never had any problems. When I recently contacted Basschat regarding an overpayment issue, it was very quickly dealt with. Situation fully resolved and refund received the same day. A++++ :)
