You tell me
For my first appointment, I scheduled a cleaning and check-up. After x-rays, the dentist told me I needed a deep cleaning, for which they charge $3500, with a $950 copay.
When I declined, they refused to give me a standard cleaning. So, I spent 2 hours of my time, and some of Cigna's money, for nothing. I called Cigna afterward – they were as stunned as I was.
Two months later, I had the same deep cleaning Bay Park Dentistry tried to scare me into – at another dentist – which cost me $100.
Those are the facts. You be the judge.
