Avoid B B Trade Kitchens and Bedrooms.
This company has zero customer service. We booked our kitchen in May 2025 and from initially having a good experience with the designer to the final finish in November 2025 it’s been nothing but stressful. Poor planning and miscommunication from the company and ignored phone calls and emails were just the start. Firstly start date was pushed back, then ovens and hobs were out of stock despite them supposedly being ordered way in advance of the fit date, we had to source our own at last minute, sink had to be changed as that was also out of stock, worktops chosen had been discontinued again despite them supposedly being ordered well in advance, so we had to settle for different ones that we really didn’t want but had to accept them to continue with kitchen fit and avoid further delays. We had to wait 8 weeks with an unfinished kitchen due to specialist doors not made at the same time as the other doors, poor quality on some doors which we had to wait 6 weeks for replacement, it has been a complete nightmare. Andrew McCarrol manager was supposed to be discussing a partial refund with me for the poor planning, length of time it took to finish the kitchen and the extreme inconvenience caused to my household, but he has ignored emails and phone
calls and has shown lack of accountability from the company. The lack of communication and customer care has been appalling from start to finish. This company ask for the full balance to be paid before the fit date and it seems that once this has been paid they couldn’t care less what happens after that. I would strongly advise against using this company, they are unprofessional, chaotic and disorganised.

Avoid BB Trade Kitchens and Bathrooms at all costs!
The entire experience—from start to what is still not a finish—has been absolutely appalling. The kitchen installation was rushed, filled with issues, and poorly managed. White goods weren’t fitted until weeks after they said they would be, and the flooring they installed moves and bounces—it’s completely unacceptable.
We’ve had 2 doors missing for months. When they finally sent someone to fit springs on one, the tradesman had to watch a YouTube video to figure out how to do it! The lack of professionalism is staggering.

For nearly four weeks, I’ve been trying to get them back out to fix the flooring—completely ignored. It seems they’ve even blocked me on Facebook, clearly expecting backlash like this and trying to silence it.
I held off leaving a review, but now I can hardly contain my frustration. Save yourself the stress—do not use BB Trade Kitchens and Bathrooms.

My Unfortunate Experience with BB Trade Kitchens
My experience with BB Trade Kitchens and Bedrooms has been, regrettably, nothing short of a nightmare. What I had anticipated to be a straightforward kitchen installation instead devolved into a stressful and costly ordeal, marked by poor planning, persistent miscommunication, and a glaring lack of accountability from the company.
From the outset, problems emerged. The tap sent was incorrect, and when the new one finally arrived, a significant time later, the middle shelf would no longer fit —a basic detail that should never have been overlooked with proper attention and care. The entire installation faced significant delays, our agreed planned start date, the arrival of doors and components, meant the kitchen was not finished months after agreed. These repeated errors led to major disruption and considerable inconvenience in my home.
In my efforts to resolve these issues, I emailed and called the company repeatedly, but was unable to reach Andrew McCarroll, the ‘General Manager’. I was informed that he had been moved to work on the shop floor due to the company being so far behind—a fact that only further highlighted the disorganization and lack of leadership within BB Trade.
I also requested a partial reimbursement to cover additional plumbing costs directly caused by BB Trade’s mistakes, yet my emails have gone unanswered. The lack of communication and disregard for customer care throughout this process has been truly appalling.
Given my experience, I would strongly advise anyone considering BB Trade Kitchens and Bedrooms to think twice. The service I received was unprofessional, the process chaotic, and the result deeply disappointing.
In summary: avoid this company at all costs.

Stressful bathroom rennovation

Good bathroom design experience, but now am frustrated that 3 weeks into the fitting and I still only have my original toilet and a shower tray fitted in all of that time. Causing all sorts of knock-on problems in my life so it's pretty stressful.

Good Experience

Looked at a few kitchen companies in Newcastle before settling on BB Trade Kitchens. Unlike other companies, BB has an extensive showroom. The choosing experience was more comfortable and prices competitive. Everything arranged on time by Gordon, our designer, and the kitchen was very well fitted by Ritchie & Chris in only 4 days. Very pleased with result, so much so, that our daughter & family are now having their kitchen redesigned by BB Trade.
