Great product

Maisie loves her beanbag, brilliant from birth and she's now 6 weeks but can see it being great for a long time to come!

Absolute top quality beanbag & conpany

I cannot say enough how high quality and also pretty their beanbags are!
Great customer service when I contacted them
The beanbag is very well made with strong materials, exceptionally safe for kids, especially babies
My daughter is 6 weeks old and loves a nap on her bag!

I have just had a newborn baby

I have just had a newborn baby, saved myself money not buying a crib or moses basket for downstairs as wanted to keep them as a bedtime routine only. Got one of these as a gift and truly love it that I bought another one for baby's nursery. With not using the other products during the day my wee one who is 8 weeks old sleeps from 10/11pm through to 6/7am.

The only funny side to them is filling them up we sure had fun. So if anything can be done about that would be great but I've recommended them to all my friends/work colleagues who are pregnant and im buying one as a gift for my friend who's expecting in September

Brilliant!

Thank you so much for a brilliant product! My 7 week old daughter absolutely loves her bean bag. She sleeps in it for hours each day, which means I can get things done in the house. It's helped with her colic and wind also, as she's not lying completely flat. One thing I do wish though is you would do them in adult sizes as they are so comfy! (Yes I've sat in my daughters haha) thank you again!

Bought a bean bag for my 10 week old …

Bought a bean bag for my 10 week old baby when he was 8 weeks. We bought a Bean bag as he wouldn't settle in his bouncy chair and doing things around the house/ nap time was becoming more and more tricky. As soon as we assembled it (which is a tricky and can make a mess, although we had a laugh doing it) my little boy fell asleep on it and had a substantial nap! He loves it and lies on it with no problems, looking around, watching the lights etc. which lets us eat dinner and catch up with things around the house. He also sleeps on it no problem which is fab for nap times. He was also developing slight flathead on the side he favoured lying on and I feel the bean bag as stopped this. It's great that it comes with a top cover with harness, and another without, for when they're bigger. Would thoroughly recommend!

Fantastic- highly recommend 5*

My 4 month old was getting grouchy and uncomfortable in her bouncy chair and was getting a bit big for it too. I saw a beanbag planet advert on Facebook and looked into the beanbags as my wee girl was starting to get a touch of flat head with her old chair too.
As soon as I looked on their website which is bright, colourful and gives all the info you need on the front page (much better than trawling through pages when you've got a 4 month old beginning to teethe lol) I was sold!
It took just a couple of days coming to me (in the western isles) and as soon as we got the beans in the retaining bag and popped that into the outer bag and zipped it all up, I was in love with the product already!
The top is like a suede like fabric that is so soft and colourful. Popped baby into the seat and clipped her in - she started laughing away! She is in it all the time and enjoys afternoon naps in it while mummy gets a chance to catch up on housework!
It also comes with a second toddler top cover without the seat restraint so when wee one gets older she can just chill out on her beanbag!
Bright and colourful I highly recommend this beanbag to anyone! Well worth the money and the quality of it is second to none!

Very happy baby!

I purchased a bean bag for my daughter when she was a month old. She refused to sleep in her cot or Moses basket. Would not settle in less being held, so I thought I would give it a try. So glad I did! It became her bed as it was the only thing she would sleep in, now she has learnt to sleep in her cot after using this. The fact that you can add the beans means we could set it so she sunk in to the bag so she felt secure like she was being held. Also meant I could do jobs round the house knowing she was safe with the harness cover it comes with. I would highly recommend!

Excellent customer service

Excellent service ordered next day delivery and next day it came. I had a query so contacted them on Facebook to which I received a very speedy and satisfactory reply. Well done bean bag planet excellent service.

Poor customer service

Purchased items 18 months ago and now have an issue which this company are unwilling to even attempt to resolve. The bean bag I believe was faulty at time of purchase, it has only been used regularly for about 3 months within that time and the stitching has come away. They claimed the bean bags would last from birth to 8 years - this is obviously not true! Apparently their has been a change of owership even though the name remains the same. They have now decided to ignore my emails and blocked them. I have worked in Customer services for over 10 years and I am disgusted that they think they can just ignore the issue, they claim to aim for 100% customer satisfaction, they have failed on this occasion. I be taking my complaint further after seeking guidance from Citizens Advice.

As advised by email, this item was discontinued in January 2016 and we offered a 6 month warranty period on the design as it is not sold by us.

We have not blocked your emails as this is not possible.

In your email, you advised the stitching has recently come undone on your product which is 18 months after the item was purchased and this cannot be classed as faulty on arrival.

We have not been unreasonable with our response and company policies have to be followed.

If the item was received faulty, this should have been raised with the company straight away and a replacement would have been provided.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Perfect comfy beanbag

I noticed my friend had bought one of these and I was intrigued to see if my little boy would stay on one as he is such a fidget. It was on an offer at the time and so I thought it was worth a try as I don't have anything else for him to have a nap on and he often falls asleep while playing on his gym mat. I'm so glad I did get it as it is ideal, my little boy now has his exercise on his mat and then I give him a feed and he will happily doze off for a nap on his bean bag. It's really handy that the top cover is removable too as it makes it easy to wash and replace when we have any little accidents.

My son loves his bean bag!

The product looks great, is of high quality and my son absolutely loves it however the bag comes unfilled and is a nightmare to fill! We litrally spent hours filling it and it made a right mess, although we followed the instructions perfectly. They did offer to send a pre filled bag after but we had done ours by then. But apart from that i love it

Brilliant

Fantastic bean bag my 7 week old.son loves it he has had hours of good sleep which was getting worse in his moses basket .. since he's been in his bean bad in the day time he sleep for hours.. he's a happy baby boy

Poor customer service-long wait for item

We waited a month for our beanbag to finally arrive. When it arrived with instructions "ASSEMBLE IT YOURSELF!!!!" we couldn't believe it!!! You're supposed to pour the beans from one bag into another-when you pay nearly £40 for a product and then wait over 4 weeks to receive it, you expect it to already be assembled. We ended up having to transfer the beans from one bag to another with a small jug which took over an hour. Would definitely not buy from them again. We emailed them to ask where our order was on numerous occasions and got a short response stating that orders were delayed because of Christmas. I get the impression that they were not geared for the busy period over Christmas. But bearing in mind that the order took a month to arrive, you'd think the beans would actually come in the bag rather than having to put it together yourself. Very disappointed.

Delivery still not received!

Delivery still not received. We ordered a bean bag on November 25th and we still have not received it. On the other hand our money has been cashed!

Outstanding customer service

We received a bean bag as a gift from my sister-in-law for our baby girl. This was a fantastic gift and our baby girl loves this she also didn't find sleeping flat on her back so this was very usual during her first month. The zipper burst however I contact bean bag planet and ask i could buy a replacement tip cover. Their response was immediate and customer service was outstanding to say the least not only did they replace the top cover a new bean bag was sent with no cost involved. The service from the start to finish has been fantastic I would happily buy again from the company and huge thanks to Zoe for resolving the issue immediately. Many thanks again Nicola x

Customer Service and Faulty goods

Please save yourselves a lot of stress and reconsider ordering anything from this company. We ordered a beanbag and delivery (11/11/2016) was slightly longer than we expected. My son used it for the first time and it broke along one seam causing all the beans to come out. Via the site we requested to return the item as it is clearly faulty. We received an email from the Company stating they would respond in one working day. We sent a further two emails requesting that this matter be resolved. At the time it appeared the Company did not respond to emails, phone calls (do not even answer) or Facebook.

On 09/12/2016 we emailed the company again and this time received a response.

After a week of correspondence and informing them on 09/12/2016 that the shark beanbag was still advertised for sale on their site, bearing in mind I was told that it had been removed earlier to this date as it did not meet their usual high standards, my husband received a telephone call from the owner of the company.

The owner stated that on the 1st December 2016 Beanbag Planet had been taken over. She stated that being the new owner she was not obliged to give me a refund, however, as a good will gesture she would return monies in full, after which, she requested we remove our review.

We have now received a full refund and I am happy to say the Shark Beanbag is no longer for sale.

However, we have decided not to remove this review as requested as 'apparently' we bought the goods from the previous owner's of the company, and if so the review above reflects them and their merchandise. Consumers make your own minds up!!!!

Do not buy from Beanbag planet

Please save yourselves a lot of stress and at least call this company prior to ordering. We ordered a beanbag and delivery was slightly longer than we expected but noting outrageous. The problems began when we used it for first time and it broke along one seam causing all the beans to come out. It was then we discovered that they do not respond to emails, phone calls (do not even answer) or Facebook messages - in other words there is no way to contact company after purchase. We are now getting started on small claims court to recover cost but it is hassle you do not need at this time of year so please check!!!
