AVOID

AVOID! Horrific customer service, was hung up on and lost £50 because of train delays to my appointment. Rude staff, no flexibility should things change with your appointment, absolutely awful customer experience. They've stolen money from me - terrible.

Poor Service

I visited the salon yesterday for a BIAB manicure and pedicure and wanted to share my experience.

Unfortunately, I left quite disappointed, particularly given the £65 charged for the BIAB service for my hands. For that price point, I would expect a basic level of nail preparation and attention to detail, which was lacking.

No cuticle work was carried out - my cuticles were neither pushed back nor cleaned - and the application itself felt incomplete. As a result, the finish is uneven, with each nail having a different shape around the cuticle area, which looks unprofessional.

I also requested a clear top coat, which is a standard part of my usual BIAB routine. This request was declined by the technician, who insisted it was not necessary. This was surprising, particularly as it was a simple request and aligned with standard practice.

In addition, the overall service experience felt rushed and careless. The technician handled my nails quite roughly, causing discomfort on multiple occasions. There was also ongoing conversation between staff in another language, including laughing, which felt unprofessional and made the environment uncomfortable as a client.

Given that the salon was not busy at the time, the lack of care and attention was particularly disappointing.

I am a regular BIAB client and have been maintaining my nails this way for several years, so I am familiar with the expected standard of service. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet that standard.

Separately, I also wanted to flag that this is my second visit where I have been asked to either pay in cash or transfer funds to a different account. This is unusual and not in line with standard business practices.

Very poor quality shellac manicure

Very poor quality shellac manicure. The nails were uneven and badly finished.
The staff were also quite rude – they were speaking in their own language and laughing while looking at me and another customer, which felt very disrespectful.
It was also difficult to communicate because they couldn’t clearly understand what I was asking for.
I was also concerned about the products being used, as I wasn’t confident about their safety or quality.
Overall the service felt rushed and unprofessional. I would not recommend this salon.

Awful - avoid

Awful. This place has gone very downhill in the last few years and now I’m surprised how they are still in business. The salon was dead which is a stark contrast to years ago.

Rude, unfriendly staff. Asked for biab removal, rudely done and used the electric buffer for the entire thing which resulted in her going too close to my actual nail a few times where it burned my nail bed. I told her this and she said there was no other way and she could just leave it half done. Made it feel like it was my fault.

I would avoid. Don’t waste your money

Horrible service

Horrible service, rude staff - never returning again and highly discourage others too!

Last visit - the waxing lady was offering her waxing services at her home at cheaper price in private. And she billed me wrong for legs waxing which the owner then rectified.

This visit - was not given any towel / change for waxing by the main waxing lady when asked. I decided not to get waxing done and then the manager offered a small towel. This hurt the main waxing lady’s ego and she sent someone else to do my waxing. The other lady was inexperienced - gave me rashes on my hand and left the sticky wax on my body in spite of asking her to clean it. Also half legs waxing at Beautyfini means under the knees - this is pretty ridiculous when everywhere else in the world (including in Beautyfini till my last visit) was just above the knees. I was so disappointed that I left without getting threading done and will never be returning again.

Owner of Beautyfini - please take note and please do something about your customer service!

Today

Today, I went in to have my shellac polish removed and get a new set. I specifically asked the technician to make sure all the old polish was properly removed so there would be no lumps. She dismissed my concern, saying the problem was with my nails and not her service. I explained that I didn’t have any issues the last time I got them done and just wanted her to remove the old polish thoroughly.

During the appointment, she kept leaving to assist other clients, coming back to mine in between. She started filing my nails without even asking what shape I wanted. Halfway through, I looked at my nails and noticed the shapes were all different and uneven. When I pointed this out, she raised her voice and began arguing with me. I told her I didn’t have time to waste and to just finish the job. She pushed her chair back and said she wouldn’t continue.

I got up and went to pay for my eyebrow service. As I was leaving, I told her now I understood why this place had so many bad reviews. Her response? “You’re stupid for coming here then .”

I was shocked and embarrassed. The staff are extremely rude and clearly have no idea how to treat customers. I will never return and do not recommend this place to anyone.if I could give 0 star I would !!!!! Disgusting behavior!!

Misleading service and questionable charging

Booked for BIAB infill and gel polish to infill my nails which they had done 2.5 weeks earlier. I double checked they would do the infill when I arrived and they confirmed.

They proceeded to remove everything from my nails and reapply BIAB and gel. When I questioned it they said it "was the same thing" and actually charged me more for the removal!

Customer service also very poor and dismissive. Not a pleasant experience. Won't be going back which is a shame because I've found the waxing/threading treatments very good.

Absolutely shocking service

Absolutely shocking service.
There are so many nail shops close by I highly recommend you avoid this one.
Asked for a manicure and after spending three minutes on my cuticles they considered this to be done! The finish was very bubbly, when asked for another coat of varnish I was huffed and puffed at. When complaining that I still had varnish on my skin, I was laughed at. When I challenged the price at the end saying I didn’t revive a manicure, I was told I had to pay for it and I don’t have to come back.

Low quality staff attitude

Since I moved from Dubai, I failed to find the same quality of service in London. Finally thought that those guys are the one (closest to my Dubai experience but indeed not the same) and that I would be their customer. However, my last experience wasn’t that wow at all! Non friendly staff, working by the minute regardless the quality! I hate for my manicurist to be looking at her watch every other second checking the time , throwing away my hand, working hastily as if she’s working in a factory rather than doing it with quality and devotion!! After my patience has run out of being too nice and friendly, I had to show my dissatisfaction with the pointy rough feeling of my supposedly “done” nails and asked her to do them properly. Also, very pour la forme massaging where she was just applying cream!! SERIOUSLY?!!!!!

Then I moved to get my facial threading which should include upper lips…but it’s tricky cuz simply I paid for them separately and they were not done properly! However the eyebrows lady was way nicer than the rest.

Also while I was there, I witnessed a conversation with another complaining customer and the way they were shouting at her was so irritating! Didn’t like it at all! I pay A LOT but for quality..should there be no quality, it doesn’t worth a dime of my money.

Also they overbook their appointments which end up with their staff looking continuously at their watches, checking the time, jumping here n their half make customers then come back to you to continue their work with you! An atmosphere that i wouldn’t like to experience to somewhere I should be relaxed and content

Avoid! Poor quality gel manicure

Avoid!! I am a very dissatisfied customer. I have attended for gel mani appointments a few times and the nail colour chips very quickly each time. However, on this last occasion half of my index nail colour came off completely only 2 days after having them done. No manual work with my hands were done prior to this happening. I sent an email to beautyfini at the address given for complaints and I got no response or apology for this after spending over £30 to have this manicure done. I will not be returning.

I don't want to slag them off, but...

I really don't want to slag off this business, but the management should completely review the quality of service your workers are providing and instill a much better standard. Everything seemed rushed. My estimated 1 hour pedicure/manicure combo, which they chose to do at the same time and for which I was charged £58 was finished in less than 15 minutes. I won't have overly minded a quick service nor that my legs and arms were pulled in two different directions by two different people performing both service at the same time if I had gotten a more thorough service. My rough heels only improved slightly, and my hands and finger nails treatment didn't take my breath away. I'm heading straight to the shop to grab some kit to do redo some things they already did. Doesn't feel like money well spent, and so I will encourage beautyfini to do much better in the highlighted aspects.

Avoid

I’ve used this place for at least 5-6 years but I have to say the customer service has really gone down hill. I use this salon because it is conveniently near my office.
I had SNS acrylic nails done for a special holiday, and within 9 days a crack started appearing across one of my nails. A few days later that nail cracked in half and fell off. So on one hand I now have one finger with half a nail on it.
Then another day later, one of my other nails has started showing a crack in it, so I’m now waiting for this one to snap in half and fall off too.
I’ve emailed Beautyfini, WhatsApp-ed them AND contacted them via their online contact form on their website but have received no communication from them whatsoever.
I’m actually still away on holiday at the moment (which is why I had my nails done) so I cannot physically go to the store to see them and show them but I have sent them pictures, but no response!
Needless to say I will not be using them again and will let all the girls in the office know too. Word of mouth speaks volumes.

I did not had a good experience this…

I did not had a good experience this time. They cut my nails way too short. I had to ask them to remove the shellac manicure because it was so bad. Probably a worse manicure I ever had.very disappointing experience.

Excellent service

Excellent service. They took their time and performed a fantastic job. The local salons I've used in the past rush my nail and don't do it as well. The shape and finish are so nice. I had one of my own nails fixed and looks very natura.

I went to this salon as a new resident…

I went to this salon as a new resident in canary wharf, I asked politely for a french tip, once she had painted them she asked me if they were ok, to which I asked if she could rub the tips off and do them plain, as they were very uneven and I didn’t want to stress her and make her re do them. I then had 4 employees surround the table I was sat at shouting at me, including a lady with purple hair who was telling me they’ll remove everything if I wanted just the tips rubbed off, I said this wasn’t necessary however they all continued to shout over my reply to their colleague, the lady doing my nails apologised to which I replied it wasn’t her fault and that if she struggled with french tips it’s okay, it was her colleagues who were extremely rude and bullied me out of the salon. After this, I still paid the full price for the nails and was left feeling so uncomfortable I was in tears.

Please save your money and look for somewhere else, getting your nails done is meant to be a nice experience and this was so far from it… in fact I was bullied for a service that I was paying for, and I remained polite the whole way through. I also noticed the way they would speak to customers of certain ethnicities throughout my very short time their.

If I could give it 0 stars I absolutely would.
