Very disappointed in Beautyguild.com standards

Enrolled on a beauty guild Gua Sha course. There was no descriptor at the level of study, by the entry requirements I assumed it was intermediate and not Novice level.
When I embarked on the online study I recognised this was novice level and not appropriate for myself.
On feeding this back to beauty guild within the 14 day change of mind refund there were negative communication with admin Nadia Suliman and Paul Archer.
They requested that I complete the course then feedback for refund consideration.
This does not make sense as the level is basic which would then make a request for a refund invalid if I had accessed the whole course.
The course level descriptor should state basic level.
Very disappointed in Beautyguild.com. Standards.

Based on Beauty guild feedback a goodwill refund was not given .
Firstly they said I had completed a large percentage of the module so could not offer a refund under the 14 day refund guarantee . The percentage of the module was undertaken to give an accurate reflection of the study level. Secondly they now want me to complete the module, so I may give another feedback with no assurance a refund which would be given.
The course descriptor states.
The course is designed for people who have already obtained a facial qualification including A&P to learn about Gua Sha and introduce it into their treatment menu.
Hence the course should not be formatted at novice level which it is, but should be intermediate level for practitioners with prior facial massage qualifications.

Hi Glen,

Thank you for your review.

We’re sorry to hear that the course did not meet your expectations, however we do feel it’s important to clarify a few points for accuracy.

The course is clearly described prior to enrolment, including a full module breakdown and its intended purpose—to enable qualified therapists to safely introduce facial Gua Sha into their treatment offering. It is not marketed as an advanced or specialist-level course.

You contacted us after completing multiple modules, at which point our standard refund policy no longer applies. This policy is clearly stated at the point of purchase.

That said, we have not dismissed your concerns. As outlined in our correspondence, we have offered to review your feedback in full and consider a goodwill refund where appropriate—an offer which remains open.

We are always happy to resolve concerns constructively and remain available to do so.

Kind regards,
Paul Archer
