Couldn't recommend anymore ! Morgan Coughlin Dee was absolutely amazing, such a smooth and easy process. Discussed all rates, talked me through what the procedure would be going forward etc. As a first timer doing this, it was smooth sailing a real helping hand. Have been really looked after ! He always calls me ahead of my renewal dates with all the information he can provide me with the most competitive prices for the energy needed, and once the search agreement is in place, often comes back with even better pricing.

Not to be trusted, they give you a good deal at first, then on renewing, I was told the rates had increased by 20% but was closer to 40%.
Read the small print, I stupidly trusted them, as they had been so friendly, they quickly change once they have their commission.... which i mistook for the early termination fee. I was so wrong. I know why they were so friendly now..
June 26. & no, it is not resolved & wont be when dealing with people who behave like BEC, they get away with it, time & time again, people just read the good reviews, not the ones at the bottom.

Trapped in a Costly Contract That Helped Close Our Business
Absolutely disgraceful experience with BEC Consultants.
They aggressively pushed us into a 4-year Pozitive Energy contract with extremely high rates, leaving us trapped in an agreement that has had devastating consequences for our business. It felt as though the priority was getting the contract signed rather than ensuring it was suitable or sustainable for us.
The cost of this contract has placed enormous financial pressure on our business and has ultimately contributed to us having to close our doors. Once the problems became clear and we reached out for help, BEC Consultants offered nothing but empty words and excuses. Despite repeated requests for assistance, no meaningful support or solution was provided.
A consultant should be acting in their client’s best interests, not leaving them tied into a contract that becomes financially crippling. We trusted their advice and deeply regret doing so.
If you are considering using BEC Consultants, think very carefully before signing anything they recommend. Our experience has been catastrophic, and we would never use or recommend them again.
The consultant name was Karl Green at the time of the signed contract.

Thanks for your email, having investigated this I can see that the contract you agreed with BEC Consultants was agreed in January 2023 for a start date of February 2023. At this time, the market was constituently rising showing very few signs of reduction. Prices recorded throughout 2023 exceeded £1pu unit for electricity and up £0.20ppu on gas. So the prices you agreed with Karl, which were significantly below these costs, would, undoubtedly, have saved you a significant amount of money across 2023 and into 2024. Karl presented you with the best options available in the market at the time, it is worth noting that Karl did not agree prices with you to start 2 or 3 years into the future, he had only 1 month to get you protected ahead of you moving onto out of contract rates. This was off the back of you proactively looking to secure options on your energy contract, Karls call was in response to an enquiry made to BEC. Whilst the outcome of these additional costs to your business has made it unsustainable for you to continue trading BEC did present you with the best options available at the time and you agreed to the option that you felt was right for the business. This option was also agreed via a signature from yourself after receiving the contract and full pricing breakdown ahead of signing anything. Karl did not agree this sale on a call he discussed options with you and then sent these over for you to read through and view ahead of signing and returning them. BEC cannot control the wholesale cost of energy and always offer advice and options with the best interest of the customer.
