Clinical excellence; communication and admin not so great
I've had excellent clinical experience from Panos Zanelis, Dean Witter, and hopefully for the future, Mr Tang. Communication is not so great, however. The practice informed me neither when Panos left, nor when Dean went part-time. The latter resulted in very long appointment turnrounds, which I regard as unacceptable with a Denplan private insurance scheme. IMHO the practice should inform patients automatically when there is a material change to their treatment regime.
On another matter, the practice appear to have shares in interdental brushes. I've twice been nagged to adopt these, and twice had to explain that I don't have the manual dexterity to feed these in at the critical angle, and that the variation in my gaps would need a fortune's worth of different sizes. Give it a rest! Dean has consistently rated my tooth cleanliness as excellent.
