Wow, if you like good old fashioned customer service along with polite knowledgeable staff then this is the shop for you. Nothing was too much trouble, I wasn’t rushed at all, most of all they listened to me!

The delivery was brilliant, none of this hanging around all day…I was given an approximate time, but on the morning of delivery this was updated by a phone call to the exact time. The delivery guys were polite, quick and hardworking.

Go and see for yourself at this wonderful shop in Honiton, you won’t be disappointed.

The service from all staff but especially Steve Wrennall, was excellent: knowledgeable, informative about options, caring, personal and practical. We were helped to choose exactly the bed we needed. The order process was handled easily and efficiently. The delivery came on time. We would definitely recommend this shop for beds, mattresses, chairs and bed-linen.

Bought a bed frame and expensive Mattress which was destroyed well before its time by the recommended bed base inadequately supporting the heavy mattress. Their charming and professional appearance disappears when you challenge them. I have endured rudeness abuse and total indifference. They are not willing to accept their responsibilities.

The response from the supplier beggars belief. To say a number of false claims have been made motivated by financial gain is totally untrue and testament to their lack of integrity. I was missold a bed base which, did not conform to the required or promised specifications. This in turn caused a Hypnos mattress at the price of over £2k to (in the words of Hypnos) prematurely age due to the missold bed base being incapable of the supporting it thereby allowing it to “prematurely age.” “Prematurely age” are the words used by Hypnos and relayed to me by Hypnos themselves. In our words our expensive Hypnos mattress is “worn out” and at 7 years this is an unacceptable situation. Further to this our 10 year Hypnos guarantee is also invalid. No financial gain is involved, I simply have asked to be put back in the position I should be in had the misselling not occurred. No compromise has been offered and endless insults from them are now becoming the norm. Bad service should always be called out as a warning to unsuspecting potential customers who could also become victims of misselling and be left to suffer the consequences.

Absolutely OUTSTANDING. We went to the Honiton store several times and were looked after by Ram and/or David depending when. Both of them bent over backwards to inquire about our needs, think with us, suggest, recommend, advise, have us test different combinations... The quality, professionalism, and authentic warmth of their customer interaction are simply superior and fantastic, (and sadly relatively rare). I cannot recommend them more highly. We absolutely LOVE our new Devon Duvets wool mattress topper, and cannot wait for the upcoming delivery of our 2 new twin Cloud Tempur mattresses in January. I found this company on internet search. Was keen to buy a particular bedding set. Had one set already and loved it (first set ordered from manufacturer). Peter Betteridge offered a good price. Process for ordering online easy. They sent it next day delivery with my favourite and most efficient courier. As it happened, there was a day's delay, but the courier kept me informed by email and text, and order was delivered day after. All in order. I have signed up to their marketing emails, and wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.

Excellent service, they rang me the following day after placing my order to resolve a payment issue and the product was delivered the following day. Recommend!

Have purchased a Vispring mattress from Peter Betteridge. David was very helpful over the phone, and then him and more members of the team assisted me in coordinating delivery as I had a limited time slot. Bottom line - it was timely delivered and we are happy with the Mattress as well.

Their shop window in Kingsbridge looks like a very small shop where you wouldn't get much selection for beds. But that was deceptive, as they have a large showroom upstairs. Beds are at 'upmarket' end but competitive prices, with the option of trying everything out. Staff were attentive without being pushy. Delivery was communicated well and was when they said it would be. After-sales was excellent – we foolishly chose the wrong level of firmness for our mattress, but they replaced it under the Vi-Spring guarantee with no quibble and without making us feel we were at fault.
