Refused 4 welfare check requests after…

Refused 4 welfare check requests after disclosing longterm domestic abuse, but showed up without hesitation to question a minor on home education because Luton’s Children’s Service's dont like a parent having boundaries.

Updated:
The RASSO team prefer praising and prioritising colleagues over honouring a survivors wish for a new IO, twice requested, still being forced to work with an IO that isn't trusted, also extremely rude and told a survivor to stop "bombarding" them emails when it was just replies to their emails all the while pushing for an ABE to happen within a week when the survivor is hot supported by them and doesn't trust them.

Very disappointing

Very disappointing. Not helpful, never bother to call you back when you desperately need their help as dealing with someone in mental health crisis. Probably far to busy at macdonald's or taking pics of car to post on fb... disappointing, pull your socks up!!!

Disappointed 😞

Rang today to speak to someone. Rude sarcastic person on the phone who didn't even give me the chance to explain what the issue was before jumping in and basically saying ' not our problem '. Then sent me a text with a crime number!!
Won't bother next time. No wonder they have so many bad reviews if this is the attitude you get.

Blonde sgt with glasses was very rude to me telling me to hurry up and just not interested in my queries what so ever she had a chip on her shoulder as she said she was going on holiday and don’t want to finish late she had 45 minutes before she finished unacceptable if she don’t like helping people then shouldn’t be a police officer

Don’t expect much from Bedfordshire police are incompetent and a let down.these so called…

Don’t expect much from these so called police officers that are here to protect you and serve you. My son has suffered from extreme racism at the age off 6 and 9 and 13 years old. Each time we as a family have been told not much can be done. So last week he was called a racist name and this time he took it on himself. Had a fight won! I asked why didn’t he come to us or the Police. His response is -what have the police ever done each time I have been racially abused Dad what? So I have to deal with it myself or kids are just going to carry on calling me racist names. I didn’t enjoy seeing the video of him fighting at all. But he has been failed by Bedfordshire police each time. I went to the complaint department and all that happens is the idiot Supervisors call you just to say they addressed the complaint on their system and that’s it.
Shameful!

Massive drug problem in Bedford with 0…

Massive drug problem in Bedford with 0 action taken. Waste of time reporting the crime as it takes them days and days to even get back to you. There have been drug collections on a nice residential road everyday, all day and now burglaries - Bedford is turning into a crime ridden, depressed town - sad to see - needs a very active police force.

I phoned the police about my concerns

I phoned the police about my concerns. A male and female officers came, very arrogant so I could not say them anything. Do you have a police commissioners like in Nottingham? If you have a power work for police you should palaide to people. Bedfordshire police staff used to very good, but not now. How the way they treat people. Need more training

Fast efficient service.

I reported a theft from my motor vehicle via 101. The phone was answered within minutes and within an hour soco attended. The officer who came was friendly, very efficient and reassuring.
I couldn't have asked for better service.

Bedfordshire Lady Police uncaring and Smarmy

My carer drove to Luton Airport in my car about 50 miles from my home where he lives with me and lives with me and my wife. I'm 83 and disabled We drove round the corner by the airport perimeter road and as we did so we parked behind a police car. My carer got out with his girlfriend and their 5 year boy to catch a flight to Romania for their Christmas break.
The police saw him driving my car and accused him of not being insured to drive my car.
The lady cop was what I could call as "smarmy" effecting to be concerned but actually she was disinterested in my carer and his family plight who were very likely to miss their flight.
I consider this as disruptive policing and has put me off the police which is a pity as they have been very helpful to me in the past.
They questioned my ability to drive and followed me for several miles until they turned off.
This was unnerving and it seems to me they were looking for an opportunity to nab me too.
I have subsequently looked up their position in the national policing league of which they possess the unenviable of position of being at the bottom.
I did not get the lady cops badge but her male colleague who stayed in the background had badge 93

Useless.

A Road Traffic Incident affected my house. Culprit was a 'trade'. They are being really awkward about giving me the culprits details so I can give them my repair bill. Even the legal line of my home insurance said it was best to go to the company direct to get them to pay. Beds Police keep citing Data Protection. Have they not been trained in Data Protection - it is for PERSONAL data not business's! Also - I'm the victim and directly affected so they SHOULD give me the info.
It's so much more hard work than it should be. I'm currently out of pocket.
PLUS when I contacted they said I needed to speak to the attending officers and said they would email them to get them to contact me. Guess what - they've never contacted me!
