The barbecue arrived in individual pieces, it is a massive understatement when they say it requires assembly on arrival, it actually requires total assembly of all parts down to every nut and bolt, even all the gas burners require assembling. Bedfordshire BBQ centre customer service are very unhelpful and insist this is clear on their website, but it is NOT.

We are sorry to hear that you struggled building your BBQ.
We do offer a build and deliver service which Is mentioned in the Delivery section. This is also the section that describes how the BBQ would be delivered.
Your BBQ like most was delivered on a Pallet. I know this was your first annoyance. I sent you an email personally showing you the 3-4 different points where we both display a ‘Pallet delivery’ Icon and also describe the pallet delivery service so that you could see that we in no way tried to hide this.
I think in hindsight you would have been better contacting us about the build and deliver service which we also describe in both the T&Cs and delivery details section. You read and understood these before making your purchase.

Slow
When placed my order in January there was no mention of the item being out of stock. (As it was clearly mentioned on other supplier websites).
When the order was placed I was then informed that the item was on back order and it should be in for March.
When chased in March (several times) the delivery was pushed back again and a refund offered.
On chasing again I finally had some good customer service and the item was received in late-May.
Not ideal given it was a gift for a 50th birthday that was at the end of January..

Customer Service As It Should Be
Ordered a BBQ from them based on a reasonable price and the free delivery, plus also local. Was amazed by the communication about delivery including an estimated time and a call on the day to re-confirm the time of delivery. You're dealing with a proper customer service company!

Fantastic service and product
The quality barbecue we bought, arrived without fuss and on time. The kerbside delivery on a pallet was perfect, with a vey accommodating delivery operative moving it on a “pump truck” to exactly where we needed it to be for assembly. Despite the rather scary number of parts to put together, my clever daughter and I spent a happy couple of hours following the clear instructions and having no screws or bolts left over!
Overall I cannot be critical in any way for the quality of service or product, I thoroughly recommend the Bedfordshire Barbecue Centre
