Appalling service.

I made a booking in April 2021 for a friend's birthday this past weekend, and got in touch with the host the day before we were due to check in to confirm a time/place to collect the keys. The host said they had not been told about the booking by Beds On Board.

I called (telephone number "not in service"), emailed and messaged on Facebook and have received no response. We could not find a replacement accommodation and had to cancel the weekend, losing more money on some catering we had arranged.

We paid over £1000, and to not have any response from the company is beyond frustrating.

Avoid at all costs.

To be honest if I could put zero stars…

To be honest if I could put zero stars on here I would …… being a boat owner and setting up on here and taking booking for the summer they suddenly disappear…… leaving me largely out of pocket …. I managed to track the owner on his mobile while he was sunning himself in Italy on vacation he said ….. I never got any money refunded I was owed and ended up refunding the bookings personally out of my own money as I felt bad for the customers …. Now
On checking they still have my boat up for rent and I can’t remove the add

Awful company

Awful company! Do not use them. I needed to cancel my booking with the approval of the host. They keep half your money and ignore your emails. Use Booking.com or another service. They are unethical and make you pay even if you have to reschedule or cancel your booking which is ridiculous especially with COVID-19. It would be okay if they keep a small percentage but they take half the booking fee which could be 100s of pounds. Please avoid!!!

Do not use this site!!! It is a scam!! They have taken money from me and no confirmation from “boat owner” no communication or actual contact details for the site!
I’m only sorry I didn’t look on Trust pilot before booking :(

Unbelievably unprofessional company -will never use again

Unbelievably unprofessional company, non-existent communications. Presented them with many different opportunities to reply to messages and emails. No confirmation of booking even after 18hrs. Now within the booking time and no further update, however, they weren't slow to take my cash. Taking and holding onto people money whilst not providing the service they advertise, absolute criminals. Trading Standards and my card provider will be my next method of approach.

wish there had been an option for no stars.

Awful

Booked at the start of December. Cancelled pretty much on the same day. Took £291 out of my account eventhough it was cancelled by the owner. I have sent countless emails, called the number on the website and even tried messaging through Instagram. Literally no response. It's ridiculous. As a previous review rightly said....if you are happy to take bookings you should be in a position to give refunds when they are due.

They just dissapeared

Booked, 24 hours, no reply, anywhere tried every communication tool available. No warning signs on website, or notices for COVID, just silence.

Come on guys? What happened?

If your site can still take bookings and the situation is different - this is fraud.

Awful

Would give no stars if given the option. Don’t answer phone, don’t answer messages left on answer phone. Ignored online enquires about booking. Ignored 5 emails. No reply from owner of boat. No answer to messages sent to owner of boat. Money still held after 48 hours despite their own t&c’s. Can’t book another holiday until money released and my time is limited. Have no idea if they will take money or release it. Bank can’t do anything for 7 days so basically ruined my summer break after being isolated for 4 months.

Wow, cool boat !!!
Clean, great position in Marina, marina facilities top notch
Owner was on the phone if needed.
Really enjoyed the stay.
Definitely will be back....

THe owner of the boat wrote the day…

THe owner of the boat wrote the day before the trip saying that the boat is damaged and we cannot go.

I asked for a refund but it is impossible to contact beds on board.

I called and it goes to voicemail and I sent an email and nobody replies.

Do not use this website.

Beds on board please refund as soon as possible.

I am in the mean time initiating a debit card charge back for breach of contract.

BedsonBoard paid my boat berthing costs last year!

I own Zen Dog, a Lymington based motor yacht. I've listed Zen Dog on BedsonBoard.com for a year and, in that time, I've had over 80 bookings which have more than paid for my berthing costs.
BedsonBoard.com manages to deliver lots of enquiries and bookings from great guests - all of whom have been very complimentary about my boat. The best bit about bedsonboard is that it isn't a faceless internet-only service - there are real people based in a real office in Lymington and they get to know the boats and the owners. If you have a boat sitting idle and costing you money in a marina, don't hesitate - list it on BedsonBoard and ask them to help you achieve whatever you want - a couple of grand for a specific refurb project or, in my case, the full cost of annual ownership.

A simple online process supported by a team of customer focused individuals in the background.

Made an enquiry for booking a boat in Genoa marina at very short notice. The owner didn't respond within a few hours and the team at Beds on Board called and chased the owner to generate a response.

As it transpires the boat wasn't available and we made other accomadation arrangements. We received a call from the Beds on Board team fully explaining the situation and we'd have no hesitation using the service again.

Definately recommend staying a weekend on a boat !!

Stayed in southampton for the weekend aboard a Targo 30 for the boat show, something very different and a great experience for both me and the wife. Sun was shining, sat on the upper deck drinking a few glasses of wine and even had chinese delivered to the harbour we were at. Definately do it again and even thinking of getting our own cabin cuddy in the near future.. 5 stars

What a delight

First time and was a little nervous but it could not have been better.

They little things were done well with welcome pack, heating and towels.

Will definitely use this service whenever I can.

Real estate

A very nice boat with an extremely helpful owner. The boat is located in an ideal location with superb marine facilities.

Fantastic Service

The owner of the boat wentry the extra mile moving to a marina closest to the boat shoe I was attending. Communication from both BedsonBoard and from the boat owner was first class. Very very satisfied.
