New bed - Damaged part snail mail
I ordered a double bed on the 12th of August, item was delivered on the 21st, they only deliver in the Northamptonshire area on a Wednesday, why can't these people tell their customers, that way we can look elsewhere.
Anyway. Item arrived, all parts accounted for, upon putting the bed together I noticed that one of the screw heads was duff so emailed the company for a replacement. I emailed 2 days later to confirm that the replacement had been sent which they confirmed. Nearly a week later and the part has not arrived.
I ended up this morning having to visit Screwfix and purchase a pack of 50 so I can finish the bed. Have emailed the company to express my disgust
On another note the bed is awful to erect, it was only when we had the bedroom furniture arrive that one of the delivery guys told me of a flexible screwdriver set, wish I'd have known as it would have saved me some. Now that the bed is up it is very sturdy and solid
While the customer service was good it was let down on this occasion by the manufacturer.
Update 28/8/2018
Bed company have refunded my expense for the bolt purchased from Screwfix.
The bolts arrived in the mail this morning, good job I purchased the others as they posted the wrong size bolts

Dont bother, 2 days before my delivery was due they called me to say it was out of stock. I placed my order 3 weeks ago. ( Thinking this would actually reserve my item ) - jokes on me.
They are sending me a black alternative when i ordered a light colour. Just beacuse I couldnt be bothered with the hassle - save your money.
