Just off the phone about my missed bin collection. I just had to leave a review. The girl was so pleasant helpful and understanding, ty so much. It’s so rare to get someone like that to help with your issues.

I reported an issue about littering…

I reported an issue about littering this morning. The woman I spoke to was so thorough, so pleasant and understanding. I'm having an ongoing issue with an anti-social neighbour, and the experience with Belfast City Council really made me feel better about things.

Useless local authority

Typical leftie local authority. Impossible to get hold of.

My husband's restaurant has been trying to get a licence for months. He's contacted them like a gazillion times. The council won't get back to him.

My local authority

My local authority, and boy do I wish it wasn't. My husband is in a wheelchair and so we can't really use public transport. Belfast council are making it more difficult by the day to drive around this grand city.

They are at the behest of the eco-warrior tree-hugger brigade, none of whom have jobs, and allow the likes of Extinction Rebellion with their extremist measures to force their hand to making driving as difficult as possible.

THE HELL THAT IS DRIVING IN BELFAST

THE HELL THAT IS DRIVING IN BELFAST. If you have a car I would avoid the place. The traffic management is hellish. If you are there in rush hour it takes ages to get anywhere. The ring road A55 is to be avoided at all costs, it took 2 hours to do 20 miles. The new motorway M1 through the city centre should have been an extra lane. BUT THE WORST of all are the independent company traffic wardens. If you get a parking ticket - and you will, there is no chance of any appeal. I am disabled, have a blue badge, cannot walk far and I got a ticket for not being parked exactly in between the white space lines - not yellow lines. A taxi had blocked my parking the night before, so it was impossible to be in the space exactly, but it was only a foot and with a blue badge it should not have made any difference. They are breaking the law by doing this. The street sign they relied upon was not even on my side of the street but further up and opposite with times on it, nothing else. Cost £90! I WILL NOT BE STAYING IN THE HOTELS IN BELFAST AGAIN. VERY POOR TOURIST PR. The attitude is welcome to Belfast but leave your car at home. People are lovely though.
