Worst customer service.

Worst customer service.
I had a personal mobile number from Montreal, which was not eligible for any Nova Scotia internet offers. As a result, I had to take an additional mobile number after the store representative promised me a bundle of $50 (internet) + $20 (mobility). Ideally, I should have been charged $70 + tax, which was true for the first two months.

Later, my bills suddenly increased, and I was paying $90 + tax. My question—why?—was never resolved by Bell Mobility customer service, Bell Aliant customer service, or the Bell store that activated my account. I was redirected between them throughout the entire period I was their customer.

A week ago, I cancelled my account. They now claim they do not have access to any of my previous payments and are therefore unable to assist with reimbursement for the overcharges.

Don't look for good support here.

Outdated e-Sim links, outdated e-Sim codes, AI support which tells you "to speak in full sentences" if anything goes beyond its code, human sales assistants who insist that support is closed when websites say they are open.

Horrible customer service, treated like scum

Everything I'm about to say is from my experience with Bell and that of my family.

Customer service consistently degrades you and treats you horribly. We lived in an area where for a while, Bell was the only option. They made sure you knew it. They would also lie about prices, raising the cost significantly.

When I quit, I asked if there was anything they could do about the price and they said no. Once I was gone, immediately they said I could rejoin for about half the price.

They're liars, terrible to deal with. Once another provider was in my area, I immediately quit and never looked back.

Words can’t describe the incompetence

I’ve been with Bell for almost 2 years. They are the worst company ever! I can’t watch a single TV program without my TV glitching out my Internet that they say is 1.5 GHz at the best of time when I do a speed test max is out at maybe 202 150 MB which I even questioned that the customer service sucks. I have to phone him every month to discuss my bill that they try to overcharge me for two years. I’ve been asking them to bury the fibre optic cable that they installed in the front of the house that runs across my sidewalk and my lawn Just all at all terrible terrible service pick anybody but them even if they offer you a better deal it’s not worth saving the money. I’d rather spend a little bit more money be able to use my Internet be able to watch my television nothing good about their service or Customer service.

Terrible service provider

Terrible service provider. They charge exorbitant amounts for everything and are no less than modern-day robbers. Once you sign up, they rip you off—whether you’re a loyal customer or a new one, it doesn’t matter. Be careful and choose any other service provider if you can.

BELL CANADA is the WORST ZERO 🌟

We should have the option of ZERO stars. This company has the WORST the most INCOMPETENT reps of all time!!!
I called about my internet speed and the rep advised me to get upgraded to fibre optic internet. Rep scheduled a tech for the next day. The tech left, said he needed a ladder and another person and he will come back. No call, no show. Called bell. I explained the situation to the bell rep and she sent out another tech the next afternoon. That tech looked at my modem, said he doesn't do this and said I have to call back bell and left.didn't even stay 30 seconds... Like wtf. Called bell, they sent tech#3. Says he does not have the equipment because the work order is wrong and I need to call back bell.
Spoke with THREE reps and THREE techs in my house in 24 hours. To literally resolve NOTHING!
I'm literally still at square 1...SMH
And the last rep/supervisor had the NERVE to say to me that she will not CHARGE ME 😒.... FOR THE F#&@ WHAT?????

nope they support hateful people who are dishonest and cruel, one of their employees posted a fake review during business hours when he should have been working, but her need to post hateful things online to people who have nothing to do with them, when asked about working for Bell she said that not only do they agree with my views, my supervisor just told me that I am getting a promotion for calling you Wendy Anal and making everyone laugh at the office. Thank you Bell Canada... really someone who without cause harms another business is promoted? by the way the post is from Christian Brao and it read that "this business is run by a pedo" looking forward to a response from Bell

Worst ever provider. They scam people into their contracts and Gosh, their monthly rates are so so expensive.
In 4 months, i ended paying $800 for wifi and to leave early, had to pay another $300 fee!
Even after paying what i was not supposed to, Cogeco got me some relief for being cheap and with no scammy schemes!!

Liars and random price increase!!!!

Same experience as other customers mentioned. They lie about everything verbally. Will never send written confirmation. They keep saying it will show on the app and then nothing. Called customer service and they said they could not help since they don't have the info that was provided to me verbally on their end. Also price increases randomly.

For anyone reading this, do not switch to bell. It will be a pain having to deal with them and then you will have to switch companies anyway!

Agents who follow scripts - dont solve problems

Agents who follow scripts and dont listen to the actual issue at hand and use logic to solve a technical issue is one problem, but Bell has so many problems is incomprehensible. My neighbor is 90. His phone line is dead. Ive called in 5 times to explain the problem and after several appointments that were a no show, called again and placed in an endless hours long wait to speak with a supervisor. Line is still dead and I told them, the guy needs 911 access. Still dont care whatsoever. Indian technicians come, say it needs a new line and leave without doing any work. Philippine phone operators talk over you, dont comprehend technical English. Some agents can barely speak English. Yay DEI ! Considering Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone the service from Bell is beyond dismal. 0 Stars if I could give it.

for a minute, I thought that Belle became a decent company

I strongly recommend anyone from staying away from this company at any cost. You are better to pay double the price with a small independent provider and even suffer slower speeds than to go with bell and here is why : So many promises were made over the phone and even recorded as they do record their customers we have the right to record our calls and I have them on record lying to me about real hard, cash issues and thei systematic thievery by using all the darkest grey zones of the law when it’s not literally the civil equivalent of criminal to rob their customers with bills that are inflated or in my case after so many years of having no choice, but to go with them, I mean, decades since in Canada, the CRTC is the equivalent of a mafia controlling the big three major and exclusive national companies. None of them are better than the other one so one or the other is the reason why I have came back to be here and there for cell phone and Internet services and this time they started by sending me a bill of almost $200 when in fact, they owed me $180 after lengthy calls and having to justify my rights and give so many information that they had in front of them in their computer. They then told me many times that with those facts that hopefully I had indeed they could verify them and would send me the money they owed me I did receive a $30 check and I’m still waiting two months later for the 150 balance. bell Canada should be renamed as Hell Canada. Worst of all they have made a big show of promoting from subway advertising to highway panels that they support the cause of mental health, but I would say that they have affected mine severally over so many and so many goals and I have never met a bell customer who disagrees with me. I wish I could write here in this review. The words that in my head are to define my experience with Bell could not be expressed in a polite way despite my trying and think of words that would be fitting in this review. I’ll just say that bell should go back where it came from.. no thanks at all to the agents who lied to me no thanks at all to this terrible company and that’s it because I’m already getting angry writing this review because I have to relive once again so many calls with those thieves.
I should add that around the pandemic they were promoting in a huge marketing campaign that their so-called fibre optics and 5G services were the top of the line and the exclusive provider of such services in Canada. Well now in 2026 I still have a copper connection despite my neighbours having A fibre optics connection or so they believe at least they probably don’t have it and as for the 5G, this is the best example of them playing with words in the most dishonest way at the time when 5G was being promoted by them as a service exclusive to Bell Canada 5G was not yet implemented in the country, and they were using the term after of course, having verified with their lawyers that they could do such a thing that promoting the term 5G was legal, but indeed it was related to the fifth generation of Wi-Fi radio waves and had nothing to do with cellular connection. Stay away from this company, though sadly Canadians are being the victims of corruption from federal officials. This is a fact that can be verified easily. Just make your own research. It will take less than a minute for you to find thousands of reviews and fax that support my claims and my experience with those literal grey zone thieves..

Bell Canada has continuExtremely Poor Billing Practices and Customer Service – Bell Canada ed charging us…

Bell Canada has continued charging us for phone services even after the service was officially cancelled in October 2024. It has now been over 1 year, and despite multiple calls, Bell has not issued the promised credit. Each time we contact customer service, we are given a new ticket number and transferred between departments, but no resolution is ever provided. We are repeatedly told the issue is “solved,” yet the charges continue. What is most frustrating is that Bell has billed us for a cancelled service, which is unacceptable. There is no accountability, and we are unable to reach any senior manager or receive written confirmation by email. The time and money wasted dealing with this issue has been significant. Based on our experience, I strongly recommend that customers carefully review their bills and consider other providers. If this issue is not resolved soon, we will be pursuing formal complaints and legal options. Very disappointing experience.
