Exceded Expectations
We came in with a list of likes and dislikes and were quickly led to an ideal bed for us. The salesperson, Jack, was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. We chose a Staples full front ottoman base with the Artisan Superior split king mattress. It wasn't difficult to select the fabric for the base because there were many displays and fabric swatches to choose from. Delivery is expected in eight weeks and can be extended with prior notice. So far, very pleased.

Not the best experience...
Bensons for beds repeatedly asking for a review. The three week delivery time means I cant review the actual bed itself. However I'll give a review of the experience so far.
I was disappointed with the range in store. I was specifically after a king size mattress that could be flipped. But I was told by the salesperson they didn't have any in store. At this point I should have been shown flippable mattresses that were available online instead. The salesperson could have given me recommendations. But this level of service was not offered. So I ended up buying a mattress that could only be rotated.
In addition, I was quoted £40 to remove/recycle my old mattress, but when I saw the order email I could see I was actually charged £50.
I also found the delivery charge of £30 excessive.
So, no new mattress to review just yet, as I've still got some time to wait until that arrives. But so far, not the best experience.
