Craftsmanship is exquisite from measuring up to make to fitting.
Shanes team are amazing and his fitters are conscientious and sympathetic to the house owner whilst working.

A proper craftsmen’s job from people who clearly know what they’re doing. The result is genuinely transformational. Excellent people to deal with as well. Would recommend without hesitation.

What a wonderful company! A delightful team dedicated to delivering a high quality service. The windows are amazing. I am so happy to have the benefits of double glazing whilst maintaining the beauty and character of the original windows.

The finished quality of the windows, and the attention to detail with their fitting was worth the wait, and worth the additional time they took to work through all the detail of issues they encountered. Also, the care and consideration that the two carpenters, fitting the windows, gave to us and our home is to be commended. Minimising noise and mess helped make the whole process as easy as it could be.

The work on the window was excellent. The old frame has been rebuilt working around the peculiarities of the old existing structure. The rebuild is bespoke work.
Only grumble was the constant delays in starting the work - but having seen the work in progress I can now understand why it is difficult to estimate the time in each job - hence the inaccuracy of predicting accurate start dates. It is worth the wait.

Great experience all round. Lads were hardworking and nothing was too much for them such as when asking for alterations / changes etc. House was kept clean as it could be and they took our needs into consideration when planning the works. The windows are amazing and worth every penny. Would thoroughly recommend.

Used this company for a second time to replace a large bay window. All work was done to a high standard and it’s clear that all the guys are passionate about doing a good job. I’ve Used B&S for grade 2 listed conversion project for last two years. We have had around 17 conservation double glazed windows fitted. They all look great and the boys have delivered a great service and price.

We commissioned Benton & Saunders to replace 2 leaded sash bathroom windows. The originals had some decay, did not open, were draughty, and condensation was causing black mold. Our criteria was for them to be in natural wood and as close as possible to the originals, functional i.e. draught proof and easy to open and maintain, and reasonably priced. Benton & Saunders exceeded our expectations in all of those respects. The new windows were largely built in situ by a real craftsman - the company love sash windows as much as we do and make every effort to retain what is sound and replace only where necessary. We are delighted with our new windows which look wonderful, perfectly matching the rest of the house, but with greatly improved warmth and ease of opening. I would absolutely trust the company to replace or refurbish our cherished larger windows which I have been reluctant to touch, and fully anticipate this being the start of an annual programme of upgrades. Their expert fitter was friendly and helpful at all times - he had years of experience with sash windows, gave honest advice on options and considerations, constantly kept us updated on progress, and left no mess. Prices were very competitive for a bespoke service.

We now have two beautiful sash windows that are perfect for our 1830s house, and it now looks as it should.

Benton& Saunders repaired the frames, replaced the sashes including heritage double glazing and decorated two sash windows at the rear of our property.
The workmanship was good, the workman on site were tidy, protected the furniture, respectful of working in the house and very help.
