Budget kinda Hotel in Makati

I booked a big room and even through hotel email all was confirmed but once I arrived they offered me a old room and said I can change tomorrow but I don’t like to keep on changing rooms . Though the duty supervisor was nice but the reception staff was very unprofessional. Breakfast is awful . Though it’s my 7 th time here but I guess it’s to change . I specifically told them I need a room away from morning sun light and noise though all was acknowledged but the room was assigned to me was by the road side and noice .
My money was wasted for such poor service .

Berjaya Hotel Makati, PH - HORRIBLE!

We stayed for 4N. (Berjaya Hotel Makati, PH)

The staff is nice but the building and furniture are old.
The A/C is not cooling enough and there are times that we wake up in the middle of the night and we're sweating.

It's also creepy and weird that some guests were trying to open our room while we were inside. My partner immediately reported it to the front desk to review the CCTV and according to them, it was one of the guests who mistakenly tried to open our room. But doesn't happen only once.

There is also one morning that housekeeping keeps on knocking on our door and we're asleep for christ's sake! Oh, there's more! Early in the morning, we heard someone had been constantly pounding the wall. (IDK maybe they are fixing something)

I don't feel safe in that hotel and defo will not come back.

The shower is also faulty. It's effin horrible!

London’s most unscrupulous hotel

The pits owned by a pack of greedy unscrupulous criminals. Avoid at all costs. Had a booking for months ready for a weekend away. The hotel was shown as full for the last few weeks. So imagine my surprise when Agoda emailed me yesterday to tell me my booking was cancelled. And surprise surprise they now have a room available just like the one we had booked only now they want just shy of £700.00 for two nights. Astounding! Never mind we now have a booking in a reputable hotel for less than the price we were going to pay Stay away!!!! Not even Rigsby was as bad as this lot

Good location and service. Lacking in maintenance.

Berjaya Eden Park, London.

Pro's:
- Perfect location very close to Bayswater station at the Circle line, and close to Queensway with many shops and restaurants.
- Hotel service was very good and forthcoming (although we did not use it very much), as was the cleaning.
- Hotel restaurant with good meny and OK prices for evening meals. :-)

Con's: Lacking in maintenance.
- Windows gapping so much that we litteraly had to fold paper and use it as seals to close gaps all the way along the sills in both the two rooms we occupied. Otherwise there was a very cold draught (it was a winter visit) going directly down on one of the beds and on the radiator termostat, turning the room into an oven mixed with a strong cold draught.
- Water taps in need of service, being very tough to operate in both rooms.
- The floor maps in the rooms with emergency exit routes were erronous, not pointing out the room we were in, again in both rooms.

In all fairness, we only reported the latter point, i.e. the safety item, to the hotel staff immediately at the beginning of our stay. For the remaining items we had other things on our mind, and we did not see much point in making an issue out of them at the time.
