Terrible service

Terrible service. We’ve been in our house nearly a year and very few issues have been resolved. Any snags are ‘bodged’ by an on-site team and it takes weeks upon weeks to get people booked in to fix issues.

We’ve had our new shower repaired twice already and both times its has tuned yellow in a week or so. Now back with Berkeley and radio silence again.

Same issue with our front door. It is unusable and not fitted correctly. Been ‘repaired’ twice now and we’ve had it assessed and told that is isn’t fitted properly. Door frames are cracked and there is a gale blowing under the door.

Avoid at all costs.

Avoid at all costs.

I don't think I have a good word to say about Berkley Deveer.

Their service, quality and attention to detail has been horrific. We have snags reported over 18 months ago that are still being ignored to this day.
We've had water pour through light fittings, an unusable garden that doesn't drain, a boiler fitted incorrectly so we didn't have hot water, frozen pipes, broken guttering - the list goes on.

Don't be fooled by thier show homes. They cut corners where they can and leave you high and dry once you're in. We're taking action with IDRS as their customer service is beyond a joke. Our estate has featured on the news it's THAT bad.

AVOID at all costs.

If I could rate 0 stars I would

If I could rate 0 stars I would. We moved into a Berkeley DeVeer home 10 months ago and not 1 snag has been sorted. All 25 plots have snags, some of which are major, i.e. the garage falling down and there is no site manager, we have already had 4 and no one answers any emails and returns calls. The site is completely unfinished, very dangerous in places and nothing is being done to resolve it. Residents are now going down legal routes and serveral complaints have been risen with the planning officer and an independent health and safety company. We bought our house from plan in Jan 19 and we should have walked away then. The entire sales process was a shambles and it has got worse ever since. Not one resident would tell you to buy a BD home so please please don’t waste your time.
