If anyone would like to see my review please look on facebook for Best Buy. To not make such a Long review, just let say that BB lied to us on our accounts. Both my wife and my accounts. We both purchased the Geeksquad and Total protection Plus package. Now when I needed service on a 4k tv I bought in Feb of24 I am told that that was Not covered. I had paid for this coverage for two straight yrs. Now, "oh, sorry that is out of coverage." when just a week before they told me all my products were covered including this tv. And Now they want to charge me Again in July for this Worthless coverage at $200.00. What crooks! This is truly dishonesty and theft.I have been a Loyal BB customer for about 20 yrs and have spent Over $35,000 there. They have really screwed this relationship with a Loyal and Paying customer up. They have lost my business and my wife and I will both cancel our BB credit cards. Sams is only 1/2 mile from Best Buy. What dishonor and dishonesty. All this is my personal opinion based on my experience with BB when I needed to use the protection that I Paid for. No more Best Buy. Don't buy their membership or extended warranties
I have been a long time Best Buy customer and bought several appliances and a laptop from them over the years. I have bought extended warranties, and most recently purchased the "My Best Buy Total" membership, which seems to be their new protection plan. When my refrigerator stopped working after less than a year, my extended warranty and membership did me no good. Customer service has been terrible from Best Buy, and I still had to go to the manufacturer for all service repairs. Don't waste your money at Best Buy!
Geek Squad and Total Membership are the Worse!!!
I scheduled a repair visit consisting of cleaning a computer and installing a hard drive. I booked it 3 weeks out so that I could wait for the repair. The Geek Squad said that this was possible since I was willing to wait till they had a block of appointments available. When I got there, besides terrible customer service, I was told it was impossible. When I complained, the store manager said it could take a couple of weeks to do the repair and absolutely could NOT be done while I wait. I was told that if I continued to complain, I would be banned from the store. I took my computer and from my car called a PC store. I explained the situation and what I needed. They told me to come in. In less than 30 minutes they cleaned the PC and installed the drive. They charged me $35. I had a membership at Best Buy that was supposed to provide the top level of support! I have called and written to the store reporting this incident.
Average experience, decent selection
I visited Best Buy to pick up some tech accessories. The store was well-stocked and the staff was very helpful in guiding me to the right section. The checkout process was quick and easy. Very satisfied with my visit.

Was browsing for a computer for a VA Education Program, BESTBUY Introduced me to IST Computers and please read below
IST Computers sent me the wrong unit, take forever to receive a response, can not leave a review on Best Buy so I will warn people here. The computer they sent was wrong and what makes it worse was that I needed this for a Veteran Educational Program and now will have to exit due to this issue.
The fix was for them to reimburse $300 to make up for their mistake. The mistake was they forgot to put 16 GB of ram and oh yeah the Terabyte Hard drive. How are they a company? They are known for doing this. You would think BestBuy would not advertise them as a partner. I hope your business closes! EVERYONE if YOU BUY FROM HERE CHECK YOU HARD DRIVE and RAM! MAKE SURE IT IS THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE AGREED TO AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE!

Dishwasher Installation Nightmare
It is nearly impossible to actually contact a person in customer service. My dishwasher installer gave me a hard time and while still working on it, I actually contacted a person named Gabby in customer service. She ultimately filed a complaint about the installer-he told me he had been written up. The dishwasher is still sitting crooked in my cabinet. The last message I received said the installer claims it is the problem of the cabinet and the floor. I can no longer contact Gabby or any other human to remedy this problem. Best Buy Store Unreliability, Poor Customer Service,
i would give Best Buy Legacy a 0 if allowed. Gave salesman the model and serial number of our existing wall oven and that we wanted to know what replacement model would fit without modifications . He assured us the replacement he suggested would fit existing the cabinet. we tried to call store and salesman again prior to scheduled install to reconfirm fit. Apparently Best Buy stores were no longer taking phone calls directly but only to non local customer service location. This location sounded to possibly not even being in the United States. After continually informing them that we were assured the unit would fit the individual hung up on me. I was told if we wanted to talk directly to store or salesman i would have to drive back to store in person because stores could no longer receive calls. Although Best Buy use to be a trusted & reliable
company; I would not recommend buying anything from Best Buy nowadays. Something has definitely changed.
Terrible experience
Terrible experience. I returned airpod Max 2. I made part of payment via mastercard giftcard. I was told that I will get bestbuy gift card. after processing return , I was told it went to MA gift card. I told them I threw it after using it. the store guy told me that he can not do anything but online chat will be able to help. spent 30 minutes with online chat. I was asked to call bestbuy gift retrieval service. spend 15 minutes. told me to call best buy public relation who told me to call master card gift service.
I cancelled my best buy credit card. decided never to buy anything from them.
Delivered to the wrong address, refused to refund
I placed an online order with Best Buy and the package
was delivered to the wrong address and signed by a
person who does not work at my location. The FedEx
proof of delivery confirmed the wrong signature.
Best Buy refused to issue a refund and only offered
to resend the item — with the same carrier that
already made the error twice, including a previous
incident where a laptop was left outside unattended.
I had to open a PayPal dispute, which was initially
denied because Best Buy provided a tracking number
showing "delivered." PayPal later found that Best Buy
provided an invalid tracking number. I am still
waiting for resolution.
Be very careful with Best Buy online orders. If
something goes wrong with delivery, they will not
take responsibility. Keep all your evidence.
They have really great customer service and prices
I just started a new job where I had to have specific specifications for a laptop and really didn't know what I needed or what I was looking for specifically, the gentleman that helped me I gave him exactly what I needed and he helped me find the perfect laptop and I even got it at a really good deal I saved like $330. I'm really pleased with the customer service I received at the Bluebonnet in Baton Rouge Louisiana Best buy.
Service technician came outside the scheduled time
I called Best Buy to schedule service for an LG washing machine that I purchased there. Everything is AI driven. I finally got to a service representative and had to pay upfront for just a diagnostic evaluation. Fine. On the day of the scheduled service I got a window of 2 pm to 6 pm. I checked the website and it said the technician would be there at 2:25pm. I got a call around 1:15 pm stating that the technician was at my house. I stated that he wasn’t expected until 2:25 pm and that I was on my way home. I arrived home ten minutes before two and found a card stating they arrived at 1:15, more than an hour ahead of schedule and that they rescheduled for five days later. I immediately called and explained the service was expected around 2:25pm. Getting nowhere I cancelled my appointment and demanded a refund for my payment and told them I would go elsewhere. I would not recommend their geek squad service. You are expected to hang around all day regardless of your scheduled time.
What a nightmare
What a nightmare, an absolute total nightmare. Bought a washer/dryer unit. Then the unit didn't work at all. A technician came the next day and confirmed it - but it's gonna take a month to replace. A month without a washer and dryer???? 30+ customer service interactions via online chat and phone to handle the return. I'm not kidding, it took a whole day.
A few weeks later, I get a notice that I have a new payment due on my Best Buy credit card. You guessed it - it's for the phantom washer and dryer we returned. The return shows up on the card, but not the $300 interest charge. Interest for an appliance we don't have, that never worked to begin with.

bestbuy d0t c0m are criminals. I've never made a purchase with them, yet today they fraudulently charged my business debit card £671.23. Unfortunately for bestbuy d0t C0M it was a PayPal debit card, PayPal refunded me instantly. Card cancelled and new one coming in the post. Make no mistake bestbuy.com are scum bag fraudsters. Do not interact with their website.
Never Bustbuy again
Purchased a stove online for delivery. Two week wait. The item arrived and the entire side of the unit was caved in. The box was fine, so you have to wonder how that happened. I called support (offshore center) and was told it would be another two weeks, so I cancelled the order at that time. Since she ignored my request, i went online to cancel the order again. A week passes and I am finally credited with a portion of my original charges, requiring another call to their substandard call center. I'm told that I didn't cancel the entire order, hence the difference in refund. I will never order from bestbuy again.

Purchased Brand NEW but got OPENBOX
I purchased a brand new Sonos Beam (Gen 2) from bestbuy.com and it arrived with the seal already broken. I took pictures of everything and opened the box and it has minor scratches and obviously looks like someone already had used it before. I reached out to bestbuy customer service and it was terrible. They were not going to do anything on their end. All they told me was to get it refunded or go to best buy store to get it resolved. Why do I have to be responsible and go through all this headache? They should come back to pick it up from my home if anything. Never buy from bestbuy they will just trick you and give you open box items that looks new.
Complaints department manager is awful like her staff
There was an issue with the chat on their website. I called the complaints department to report it, the agent was rude and went silent forcing me to end the call.
I called to report that interaction and ask the manager to listen to that call, I was told the manager refused my call, refused to give her name and she relayed random dismissive unrelated information to be.
The call got progressively worst, a custoemr service rep is not going to be respectful if their managers acts this way.
After being told that I was escalating and reporting her to head office, Alexandra gave me a condescending hostile, defensive call. Truly disgusting person, and I could've done without speaking to her.
She even tried to tell me that my complaint is for a different department, like come on.
