This is specific to BestBuy Medford.

If you turn up and go to the Geek Squad for service you will have to wait forever for service. Yet there are a dozen other employees lingering around the store doing nothing.

Seems like it would be common sense to staff up the Geek Squad area and staff down the general floor.

This isn't the first time it's happened either. Every time I come into the store it's the same situation. A dozen general floor staff asking if you're doing ok and just one or two Geek Squad staff with a line of people waiting forever for service.

You can book an appointment, but why offer a walk in service if you are not staffed for it...?

I would give zero stars if I could.

Don't order for delivery any product online from BestBuy

I ordered a power bar from BestBuy. I was promised 1 day free delivery, so I accepted the delivery option.

The power bar was supposed to arrive on February 3, 2024 and be delivered by Purolator. It is now February 4 and the product which I needed immediately has not arrived. I checked with Purolator, they are not certain exactly where the package is and suspected that it would be delivered on February 5.

I contacted Bestbuy on February 4 and asked if they could help by letting me pick up the product at a nearby Bestbuy store. I was told that I had to wait an additional 5 business days and if I did not receive the product they would cancel the order. My other option was to refuse to accept the order when it arrived, or to return the order to Bestbuy when it did arrive. They kept saying that I was a valued customer, but offered me no help in getting the product which I required that day. They really did not seem to care, saying this was an isolated incident. Not for me because it was happening to me. So much for online orders and delivery and customer service from Bestbuy. I had to go to a Stone and Mortar store, a competitor of BestBuy, to get what I wanted. A very disappointing experience with Bestbuy's customer service (more correctly, lack of customer service)

High quality in price determination and delivery of goods. I Best buy and Amazon and found the advertised products to be the most convenient and cost-effective option available. The delivery was prompt and the pricing was the best value I could find. I highly recommend this product to other customers looking for a great deal and efficient delivery."

Don't get the Best Buy credit card

Don't get the Best Buy credit card. They will not protect the customer! Won't help you recover the funds! Get the chase instead, they will always help the customer.

Folks before you purchase anything from…

Folks before you purchase anything from Best -Buy think about this
They have the worst customer servcie
We have purchased almost every appliance and all our laptops from them
Our LG refrigerator broke down, it took them a week to fix, we have a protection agreement and extended warranty they send us to LG .Best -Buy never bothered to follow up.
Now we filed for food loss compensation and I emailed them the claim form together with allthe documents and they requested us to send the documents in PDF file which we did.
I called to follow up and was transfered 5 times by rude agents
first by an agent called Kathleen who put me hold for no reason and when I asked her why she put me on hold she rudely said ( i was pulling up your account)
Really it takes 8 minutes to pull up an account ??
She rudely transfered me to thier special force team / escalation team per my request a female agent called Jose who was of no help ,I asked her to assist and to not cold transfer me to the right dept but she just did that!!to geek squad agent Joe who put me on hold and disconnected the call, I called and got routed to billing and PA dept abd spoke to a rude agent called Casey who spent her time telling me not to be upset for being transfered 5 times and that she will also transfere me as this is the way they assist thier customers !! she was so rude I could could not belief my ears!!!
she transfered me to an agent called Charity who could not assit either
So that is it for me !!! I will never purchase anything from best- buy
folks be aware !!before you do please think twice
We were actually going to purchase a new washer and dryer and oven again from best buy but we will purchase at Homedepot intead .

happy with purchase

well, today, I bought a cell phone from best buy and the service was extremely amazing. i thought to myself, these people are such nice people and so generous to put the time and effort to help their customers. I mean, some people don't even know what customer service is these days.
