Colin was very helpful in helping me sort out a few things.

I've been with Best invest for over 10 years and initially I found customer service to be very helpful. So helpful that they would even add shares I was interested in on to their portfolio. Sadly the service has deteriorated over the years and has gone down even further since the takeover. I would say for a new investor they still provide excellent education services. However, the cost of an ISA and a SIPP in monthly costs has become unsustainable for me and I'm moving my investments and those of my partners to Interactive Investor saving me £180 per month.

Colin Murray was very through and clarified my queries in a detailed manner .
I have found their website to be easy to navigate anyway , but having the coaching session was extremely useful

As an investor who is definitely still learning it’s really useful to talk to someone knowledgeable and to be able to float different scenarios and options.
Sam is very patient and able to communicate complex issues coherently.
Being a bit pedantic I am not sure that coaching is the correct term for this service. It is more expert than facilitative but that is probably what most people want. There is no particular pressure to take action as there would be with conventional coaching but I also appreciated that there is no high pressure selling.
In addition I valued how quickly and easily I could talk to a coach.

Professional Investment broker , customer coaching sessions are offered to customer , very useful to talk to the skilled advisors about what is on offer regarding the types of funds available i.e like the ready made investment portfolios .

I have talked with a BestInvest coach on several occasions. They are alway brilliant.

Self managed products can turn into a hobby or full time job - I find regular chats with coaches helps me keep my decision making clean and find the best outcome for my needs. We are always clear on the difference between 'advice' (which they can't give) and exploring options (which they can).

I've found Best Invest to be a very responsive and helpful outfit, promptly answering my queries. Their advisor, Sam, gave me the information I needed and helped me understand what I should do in the near future.

Completely incompetent in dealing with my request. All I need is a paper trail of funds from my late father's account, but I keep being sent inaccessible files.

Every email I send takes days to get a response, and the phone number doesn't get you put through to the relevant department, so it's no quicker, despite being the option for any "urgent communication". There are no other communication options.

The delay is costing me money as I need the paperwork to enable me to pay off a loan in my father's name, and has been ongoing for weeks now, still with no resolve.

I would expect that an organisation's bereavement department would have some sort of awareness how difficult a time this is, and would be doing all they can to reduce the amount of stress in the situation, not contributing more to it.

Sam gave me a very good insight into international markets and the 3 stocks and shares portfolio products Bestinvest offer and the associated risks and their fees. He was patient, did not make me feel I had to hurry or there was shortage of time and answered all my questions fully.

Marc was very knowledgeable & took the time ro answer my questions. Would definitely recommend

I was given good advice over the phone on the workings of the online platform and how to find find funds dependent on what risk i am happy with
I was also sent a PDF brochure which explained things clearly

Professional advice presented in clear way following a broad discussion of my financial circumstances. Several views provided and matters for me to consider for the future. Will probably arrange a follow up in the 6 - 9 months
