Best of Wales Reviews

Lovely cottage on a working farm. The owners were very welcoming and gave us milk, cake and a bottle of sparkling wine. The hot tub was undercover just a few steps away from the kitchen door. We would recommend this house

Great service from booking through to property check out. Excellent communication via text/email throughout. Perfect property and a lovely stay.

Property too remote but excellent quality in the property.

Fantastic long weekend at Beacons View Farm Cottages. We were 3 families and it was perfect setup for us with a family in each cottage. We all loved the hot tubs and the view down the valley is just spectacular. A great booking experience via Original Cottages.

Easy company to book with, website is clear, property matched description - happy customers

Good website and booking experience but need to check accommodation details carefully as these were not quite correct.

Wonderful property in an ideal location with lovely sea views.
Spotlessly clean and well maintained throughout.
Peaceful setting and great restaurants in easy walking distance.

Fantastic place to stay, very high standard of accommodation with exceptional facilities. Amazing customer service is very friendly, welcoming and helpful.Beautiful relaxing scenery to unwind in. I would highly recommend this property.

Superb feedback and attention to detail for our holiday. Everything was perfect!

A great stay with family we hadn’t seen for a while. The weather helped but the location and facilities at the house were also first rate.

Close to great walks and lovely scenery.

Ty Menai was perfectly located for exploring Snowdonia. 2 miles from the picturesque harbour at Y Felinhelli 15 minutes by car to Llanberis. The mountains and sea both within easy reach. Stephen and Sian were brilliant hosts. The cottage was clean and comfortable

We had a wonderful stay at Cysgod-y-coed. The cottage was lovely, had everything we needed and was extremely comfortable. Our hosts were welcoming and offered great advice about what to see in the local area. The cottage is situated close to so many fantastic places to visit and the local pub provided great food. We will be returning!

The property, owners engagement, facilities, location and amenities were simply fantastic. We had the most marvellous family holiday and can’t wait to return.

For lovers of nature (birds bees butterflies bats) star gazing on the clear nights beautiful scenery lovely walks from the cottage and plenty of places to visit close by Bramble cottage is the place to go I can highly recommend it. Sarah and John looked after us so well very friendly and helpful we came away wanting to holiday there again .

We were delighted by this lovely property, a perfect base from which to explore the surrounding countryside. It was ideal for ten people of varying ages. The owners who live nearby were charming and helpful. We could not have wished for a better experience and would certainly recommend it to others.

Excellent service throughout and all necessary information provided in good time!

Delightful property, very well equipped.
Customer service, plus owner very helpful and informative. Just could not ask for a better holiday experience.

A wonderful weeks holiday booked through Best of Wales. Everything was amazing from start to finish. Thank you so much.

Excellent customer service. Called twice - once to ask for information and once to amend a mistake in booking dates - and both times the person I spoke to was kind and helpful and solved the issues promptly. The company also had excellent communication in the run up to the holiday. Reminders were sent about balance payments and then, closer to the holiday, we received emails and texts with information about the property and about activities to do in the surrounding areas. Highly recommend this company.

I cannot rate the experience I had with holiday cottages enough. When we had to postpone our holiday due to the pandemic in 2020 they were extremely helpful and accommodating.
Then this year (2021) they kept us fully informed leading up to the holiday with all the information we needed.
I needed some advice the week before my holiday and I spoke the most helpful and friendly lady (I believe her name may have been sharon).
The day after we returned home we received a text asking if we had a good holiday and although this is sent to all customers it was a lovely touch.

We plan to visit Wales again next year and will be booking through holiday cottages again.
