Belle vue Women only gym on…
Belle vue Women only gym on kirkmenshulme lane is one of the dirties gym, I have ever seen . Despite of complaining so many times, nothing has changed and now two of the the few equipments are not working. And offcorse nobody cares.

Nothing for women when we bought membership it was different, even the access and they made changes without even letting us know

I like the one Asian (south)…
I like the one Asian (south) receptionist who helped me to get my old membership back , where all the other staff wasn’t helping me at all.
And at last I’m able to come back to gym
Without begging every other staff member to let me use gym.

Poor equipment and high price
I have tried a lot of gym within the area and I used to go here a few years ago as a student , the problem with this gym is that it’s very claustrophobic as it has no windows or ventilation anywhere .
For the price of 27£ even as a student blows my mind for the amount of equipment this gym has to offer . There used to be a stair master before but for some reason they removed it . The bicep curl bars and tricep ropes are so old that the strings are falling off them .
The owner should lower the membership fees to maximum 23£ atleast which would encourage more people to join this gym, the only reason I would go here is because it’s right behind my house . I am going to wait and if they do lower their price I will definately join and invite my friends as well .
Please don’t ignore this feedback and do something about the price and equipment . Saying “ thanks for your feedback we will work towards this “ just to reassure people won’t do anything . This gym has a lot of potential …

We are disappointed that you are not a fan of Belle Vue.
We are not sure if you are aware, but our student membership, which covers you across Manchester is £29 monthly. There is a £27 membership but this is for this centre only and is not exclusively for students.
Additionally, if you pay for the year upfront you get 12 months for the price of 10 and many of our students in the area choose this option as it does offer better value for money.
As a Charitable social enterprise, all the money we make goes back in to the business including refurbishments and updating equipment, as well as supporting the community in many different ways such as free memberships for refugees for a period of 6 months, warm spaces and our GLL Sports Foundation.
Due to rising utility costs and inflation, we are unable to reduce our membership fees.
We do appreciate your feedback and would encourage you to speak to a member of the concierge team on your next visit to request any gym equipment and they can look into if this would be possible.

I have nothing to complain about the…
I have nothing to complain about the staff, they are all kind and available to help. However I think that as Bellevue is now a big sport centre it deserve a better gym. The one that there is now, is small and quite dark as there are no windows that allow to see outside, so after a while you become a bit claustrophobic. Moreover, having been to other gyms in Manchester I can see that there are less machines. Because all this, I consider the monthly membership to expensive for what the gym offer. I really hope that there could be some improvements asap.

The staff are extremely friendly
The staff are extremely friendly, and the gym is generally never too crowded, so equipment is almost always available. However, the bathrooms could benefit from more regular cleaning, and disinfectant for the equipment is often unavailable.

Only rejoined the centre this year and attended the past couple of weeks. So far, staff from the desk has been helpful, I like the app, it’s easy to navigate and to book fitness classes. The facilities are ok, would rather have a ‘proper’ studio than random spaces allocated for fitness classes (spin and/or other)

Please be advised that our Student membership states that proof is required for this membership type in the membership information online. However, once you purchase the membership this does not stop you from using the membership. Customers have up to 20 days to submit their proof of eligibility or the membership will be suspended after such time. We will also send the member reminder emails to remind them to upload their proof of eligibility so the membership is not suspended after the 20 days. Once the proof is uploaded you can continue with your membership as normal and you will receive an email once your document is approved.

For the membership price, you’d expect « Better » to be better! Very limited space and machines, with no staff members available except the reception desk. The women gym is the only positive part and I gave 2 stars for that :)
