the pricing structure of the course is not explained at all and the help emails are also unclear. I booked a 1-month ice skating course and paid 96£ (it had said 40) with a dubious explanation that some of it is a set-up fee fo 12.50 (WHY SO MUCH), 40£ for one month, and £40 for direct debit for the next month. They didn't say how I can cancel, how long the course actually is, etc. Intransparent and overpriced.

Cambridge ice arena is brilliant in general but the company/charity Better is just a rip off far to expensive for membership £44 a month just for the ice arena if that included access to other local better gyms then far enough but to factor in other gyms it’s like £90 a month. And with this being a “charitable organisation” with the cost of living at the minute it’s just not feasible for these prices so I cancelled out ice skating and joined a normal gym for £21 including access to a pool sauna &steam room

The Coffee&Skate sessions on Friday mornings are wonderful. All the coaches do a brilliant job in teaching ice skating (the Figure skating syllabus). Therefore, I would like to suggest that more such group sessions (including Ice Dancing) are being implemented at the weekends early mornings (after the Learn2Skate courses) on Sundays and/or on Friday mornings from 10am (instead of the current Public Ice session).

Just wanted to say a quick thank you for coffee skate-we've been going for six months now as beginners and have really loved it we've learned so much and love the community as well as the instructors and everything you learn every week. please pass on our thanks to them!

It is such a great community of skaters and it’s so lovely how everyone encourages and supports each other.
Coffee and skate is my absolute favourite and I rarely miss a week. I think what makes it so special is that we get to learn and practice new skills outside of our lessons which enhances our skating skills considerably.

The staff at reception were great. Would have given a 5/5 for their care and skill alone in helping us join weekly lessons but the non-acceptance of cash and steering toward direct debit is a large enough disadvantage and clash of faith to detract.

I think membership shouldn’t be paid for two months in advance as it’s too much money we have to pay at the beginning and if I cancel it’s going to be waist of one month worth of money because if I don’t want to participate anymore in iceskating I still need to go one month extra but if person has decided to stop it’s for a reason.
