The instructors were very supportive and professional. I'm an adult beginner however, they helped me to overcome my fear of water. While my young son also gained confidence in the water!

The new equipment in the gym has been very well thought out, as a wheelchair use I really like that the gym is fully accessible and there is an upper body cardio machine, although the length of the handles adjust on the right side is broken, so the when using it the arm extends on its own, so I have to use it on arm length 7, rather than 4. The cable weighs machine have a very limited maximum weight, it is a shame the weights don’t go higher, but they are fine for me at the moment, however for some exercises I am using the maximum weight, so progression will be an issue at some point. The small mats are situated by the cardio machines, which makes no sense, they would be better in the weights area. Besides the minor things I have brought up Didcot Wave Leisure Centre is welcoming, staff are friendly and l am enjoying my workouts, so can’t ask for more than that.

Booked a badminton session.
turned up to play only to be told they had 'double booked' it and therefore our session was cancelled.
Apparently had sent me an email stating that I had cancelled it.
As was in meetings all day and then straight to play I wasn't aware (why not send via text?).
As discussed with the centre rep last evening I expected that Better will refund my payment (as they cancelled it because you had 'double booked).
I had been promised that the centre manager would sort a refund the following morning...as yet I have had no refund and no communication from yourselves.
Chased this up, via the 'helpline' (who was very helpful in fairness) only to be told that I have to fill in a form in order to get a refund.
Upon completion of the form Better will decide if they will grant me a refund!
Having filled in the form there is no confirmation that it has been received by Better.
Why so complicated and long winded for a mistake on your part?
Update - have checked spam folder etc and no auto response received I'm afraid
