Broken air con/cold changing area
Please can you sort out the air con studio one not pleasant environment when exercising. Changing area and shower area very cold .

Eltham gym and facilities really are grubby. Everything needs a good deep clean. The toilets near reception are disgusting.

My son is copying other kids instead of been tau
My son has only attended swimming lessons twice so far, and I really hope this changes, especially since we’re paying a fair price for him to build confidence in the water. At the moment, the teacher simply asks the kids to do certain exercises, and my son just ends up copying the other children. The teacher doesn’t properly demonstrate what to do or explain how to do it. It feels like a waste of money, and I truly hope things improve. His lesson is every Friday at 18:15.

It was my first time attending one of the better facilities at the Eltham Centre for the purpose of learning to swim. The receptionist was attentive, patient and helpful. My first swimming lessons was amazing because I had a super patient instructor who calmed my nerves and helped me to achieve my first goal of stepping into a pool after 30 years. I left that first session feeling energised and relaxed I can’t wait for my next lesson.

swimming class time changes without notice
We had a swimming lesson booked for my 6 year old daughter for Monday 5th May. I knew this was a bank holiday and checked online portal to see if class was still at the usual time and it showed that it was. Upon arriving at the centre we find out that it was rescheduled to an earlier time. Very disappointed. No email or texts to advise of the change of time. The staff at the centre said it’s on the website and signs in the centre. That’s good but I would have to go into the centre to see the signs and log onto the website to see swimming class timetable, surely you should reach out to your paying customers to let them know of a change in class times, and why was the online portal showing the incorrect class times? It’s not like bank holiday was a surprise.

You're absolutely right—bank holidays should be anticipated, and any schedule changes must be clearly communicated. We apologise for the lack of direct notification via email or text, and for the discrepancy in the online portal’s information. However, the lesson times for your child will consistently display the standard time you attend the lessons, and this will not be changed through the portal for one week. The swim instructor for your child is expected to inform all parents about any changes for the upcoming week verbally, the week prior, ensuring you are informed of any adjustments to your child's lesson schedule.
Your feedback is incredibly valuable, and we’ll be using it to improve both our system accuracy and how we inform our customers of schedule changes. If you’d be open to it, we’d love the opportunity to make this right. Please feel free to contact our team directly so we can follow up with you and ensure your child's account is credited due to the missed lesson.

Beware of Sarah, she is not professional, she does everything in their favor without returning money, and yet I have not benefited from the membership services.
They will take your money and make you a member even if you have never used their services. Be careful when registering; they do everything in their favor, and when you request a refund, they create numerous obstacles to avoid returning your money.

Wonder pool spa and Sophie was very helpful with my membership, premier just right for me only criticism is I was a member at Forest Hill for many years so not sure why I had to pay another membership fee

Great place for your kids swimming lessons
Maya has started learning swimming with better at Eltham and she’s already much more confident and she enjoys it each time, she’s learning how to float which she was scared to do before, I recommend this place for your kids swimming lessons
