Everyone I have had communication with has been friendly and very helpful. Marcus the instructor was very reassuring and patient with me and helped me greatly the leisure centre and facilities at Eltham I can't fault

Save a life good professional teamwork…
I have just recently retired and attend BETTER
Better - The Eltham Center there was. an Emergency Instance that happened to day in the main pool a woman while swimming was having a seizure the staff were very professional and acted very quickly to save the woman’s life. The pool was very busy and they were young school children having lessons nearby in the next pool. Staff did the appropriate emergency procedures and insured that the children were safe and place away so they could not see what The paramedics were doing they removed all Swimmers into place of Safety
Just wanted to Recognise how kind And reassuring all the staff team were they Our credit to the centre

Great booking gym and swimming not great when trying to book the spa, and can’t find anywhere to book the sauna

The Sauna and Steam rooms are located within a separate area with its very own hydro pool and Jazucci and requires everyone to book into this session via our better UK app.
To book a session select 'book swimming' and then click onto Spa swim.

Gross changing rooms
The swimming bath changing rooms leave much to be desired. The ladies shower rooms mostly don't have functioning locks. There are tiny clothes hooks which can hardly hold one item. Last time I showered I was super grossed to see little slimy slug type bugs on the wall of the shower cubicle. Always lots of hair. Need to be cleaned more regularly and needs updating

Excellent incentive to become healthy, looking at all aspects of health from eating to exercise. As a group we support and encourage each other.
Excellent resources and activities Jackie who runs the class answers questions and gives advice and puts us at ease to ask any questions. It is a relaxed atmosphere and includes advice and instructions on how to use the gym because the members are at different levels with their healthy journey this has given me a better understanding of how important this is, to take that step to look at my health and how I can improve my health for a better future and to enjoy a healthier me, not only for myself but my grandchildren.

As with many of the customers, our outside lives are hectic and we come to our leisure centre to unwind and keep fit. On such a day a, I had come in and left my car running in the car park. As a regular, I was so lucky that Chanelle, one of the duty managers hunted me down and informed me. Her knowledge of customers and attention to detail and personal service was much appreciated x
