Poor customer service!
Update: I did everything in person at the Leisure centre face to face with your staff.
When signing my daughter up for her lessons I made it very clear she was still three and not four until January. Your member of staff said this wasn’t an issue and signed her up taking all her details (including date of birth, so no confusion of her age was made!), I then happily paid the £94.45.
Fast forward to yesterday afternoon for her for lesson, she’s poolside in swimming costume, hat and goggles ready to swim, the swimming instructor approached and said she wasn’t allowed to swim as she’s not old enough?
I’m then left with a very upset daughter whom I have to try to explain why she’s not allowed to go swimming!
Your manager on duty I then speak to, he couldn’t give me a realistic reason why all this could have happened or why I was not contacted prior to arriving?!
I now apparently have to wait 14 days for a refund after initially being told it would be five days.
The whole experience was supposed to be exciting for my daughter, but ended terribly! Your customer service is absolutely appalling and really needs some drastic improvement!

Are you please able to clarify if you spoke to someone over the telephone who gave you this information or was this information given to you by staff at the centre?

I will now escalate this issue for the attention of the centre manager so further staff training can be given to their staff so issues like these will not occur in the future as we understand how very disappointing and distressing this can be for a young child.
