The facility itself is spot on,gyms not…
The facility itself is spot on,gyms not the biggest but has everything you need to do your workout.
However been informed by one of the managers I have to book before I go every time ,it states in the app I don't have to but was told the apps wrong, also I only wanted to use this leisure centre and wanted to downgrade my membership to gym only and was informed it's either gym or pool only, as I had wanted sauna which they don't have at this centre. It could have been dealt with better rather than the response I got from the manger who was on in the evening, so I will be cancelling my membership asap

In regard to the gym, this is available without making a booking.
Swimming does require booking due to the availability of the pool.

It's good value for money
It's good value for money, having the gym, pool & classes all in. But it's not the best equipped gym and I don't belive its the safest option to have the gym on the first floor, even with a lift, you dont necessarily know you've pushed too hard until your legs buckle and i for one would prefer not to be walking down stairs when i have that realisation. The equipment they do have is generally in good working order and clean but would like to see more variety in free weights and space for independent work. The unisex shower/changing facilities were a shock to start with, but there is plenty of private cubicles for everyone, and staff are always in attendance so have never felt unsafe. The pool looks great although I haven't used it yet, and well equipped for families, the gym is just a little basic

I booked an early morning gym…
I booked an early morning gym induction, but when I arrived after waiting for 10 minutes I went to reception to be told that there were no trainers in that day and for some reason everyone else's sessions had be rearranged except mine?!

I’m a brand new member
I’m a brand new member, completed 3 different classes. Everyone from the centre staff to the instructors to my fellow classmates have been awesome. I’ve never felt so welcome! No need to feel nervous about being a newbie at all.

The hygiene is extremely poor.
There are piles of dirt in the corners of the studio that have never been swept up for 3 weeks.
The stairwell is absolutely filthy.

What a team! Thanks so much to the team on for my daughters birthday party. They were great, they joined in and made them laugh so, so much! I couldn’t thank them enough. I couldn’t recommend the pool party enough. You rock!
