Went to Bensons today in Barrow. Had done some basic research on the type of mattress that I wanted. My main need was a really good mattress for my back. Was left alone to look, then approached if I needed help and advice. Told them what I was after, shown the igel range but out the budget. Taken to something similar in suitable price range. Found a combination of what I was after, mattress, divan and headboard. Had a look at other businesses but came back as the price was really competitive like for like and the payment plan more than suitable. Overall very positive experience with no pressure to buy. I got what I wanted with a quick delivery time at an affordable price. All the staff were helpfull with knowledge to adjust what I wanted within my budget. Plus a forty day trial and if not suitable then the ability to exchange which no one else was able to offer. Will be the first place I go to in future. Highly recommend.

We visited this branch and were greeted by both members of staff on entry. Caroline attended to us and was informative and easy to talk to. She allowed the space to wander and freedom to discuss a purchase. We were happy to buy from Bensons. Caroline made the whole experience enjoyable rather than a chore. Recommend this company.

We went to Bensons for Beds at the Metrocentre near Newcastle. We had looked for a bed some time ago but had gone elsewhere to buy it though I had remembered the Texas sofa bed that we had seen in store.
As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Amanda, the store manager. She asked if she could help and we advised that we were looking to see the Texas sofa bed. She took us straight to it, explained how it worked and then advised that she would be around if we needed her help.
The service she gave was excellent and a credit to the company: we knew she was there if we needed her but wasn't pushy nor did she pester us for an answer about buying the sofa.
In the event, we did decide to buy two sofas and Amanda did a great job of taking us trough the purchase.
I would not hesitate to recommend the shop and would certainly recommend Amanda!

My partner and i went into bensons for beds in didcot looking for bed frames and had the best customer service from a staff member called Tylor. He really stood out to us because he was super friendly and extremely helpful, he made the experience relaxed and very easy for us. Will definantly shop with bensons for beds again 10/10 best service from Tylor :).

Recently visited the Portrack Store Stockton and we were highly impressed with the staff member there - Kevin. He spent a great deal of time with us showing us a variety of mattresses until we found what we were looking. It was great customer service. We'll definitely be back soon to make a purchase. We have recently purchased a new bed from Bensons for Beds at Seafield Road Retail Park, Edinburgh and the Customer Service from Bernard was excellent. Bernard was very knowledgeable about their products and on hand to offer guidance and advice when needed. Both members of staff in the branch were very friendly and Bernard delivered excellent customer service without any heavy sales pitch. I would not hesitate to recommend this branch to anyone looking for a new bed.

I recently purchased a starlight supreme mattress from Bensons for Bed, this mattress was supposed to be a 1 rated mattress which is the softest you can buy. When the mattress was delivered it was as hard as a rock, we spoke with the Ashton Under Lyne branch from which we purchased the product, they asked us to try it for 40 nights which I declined to do as there was no way on earth that this mattress would get any softer. The Ashton branch then asked that we contact customer services which we did and this is where the trouble started, the customer services team DO NOT HAVE A CLUE in how to deal with people. the 1st guy I spoke with told me to try a hot water bottle to soften the springs and if that did not work use an electric blanket. To say I was not amused was an understatement , I then dealt with a senior customer advisor a Sharon Woodward, this lady was the most un cooperative person I have ever dealt with and needs to find herself another job, I asked if someone could call to my home and look at the mattress, she said all they would do was come ount and look at the name on the mattress and confirm that it was the one we bought but they could not say if it was hard or soft (so called bed experts) it was like talking to a drone. I returned to my local branch where I dealt with Gareth who arranged an immediate exchange and could not have been more helpful. We took delivery of another starlight mattress but this was teh same as the first .Customer services had previously told me that they would only exchange the once, I again went to branch where I dealt again with Gareth and this time the branch manager Claire. Between thses two guys I have now been able to purchase a different mattress in exchange for the second slab of concrete. These two guys are a credit to Bensons unlike the customer services team who in my opinion are a complete and utter waste of space , they need to pop down to Ashton and spend some time with Claire and Gareth and learn how to deal with customers in an understanding a proffessional manner. I would not hesitate to buy from the Ashton branch as the custome service from the staff is second to none.

Excellent customer service from Caroline at bensons for beds, Workington. We visited on two consecutive days. Firstly, we "tested out" mattresses on Staples Bespoke beds and considered the layout of our bedroom with a larger zip link bed in it. Having re-measured, we returned the following day to place our order. On both days, Caroline gave us all the information we needed and importantly also gave us time to think and "re-test" mattresses. We had confidence in her knowledge of the beds we were interested in and she guided us through sizes/mattress comfort levels/prices. We've placed our order, have a delivery date and are looking forward to our luxury beds.

We have recently purchased a new bed at Bensons for Beds, Aintree Racecourse retail park. Customer service from staff is exceptional. Not only are they exceptionally knowledgeable about their product, they are on hand to offer guidance and advice. We have dealt with specifically Georgina, Andrej and the store manager, all have delivered excellent customer service without the heavy sales pitch which you often get in such stores. I would not hesitate to recommend this branch to family and friends.

The lady who we spoke to Maureen at the Darlington branch of Bensons for Beds was extremely helpful, very knowledgable and before choosing our new bed she went through all our individual needs and assesed our comfort needs using the comfort station. A great piece of kit which allows you to lie on a bed and it gives you information to assess which matress that we preferred..fantastic. So after testing out numerous beds of different firmness that fitted our requirement we came to a choice of two.
The lady was very attentive, and not at all pushy, and most importantly gave us time to discuss our decision privately.
After some deliberation we chose one bed that we were both happy with and signed on the dotted line.
Hats off to Maureen and the Bensons as initially we had planned to" look around " and compare prices but we felt so comfortable with the level of professionalism and customer service we recieved that we were more than happy to "Buy with Bensons" . Thanks very much, we will call again.

This is the second time we have used Bensons for beds. We tend to shop during the regular sales to obtain best value for money and Marion at the Belmont branch was extremely friendly and knowledgeable when helping us to select the best products. I love the idea of the comfort zone and being able to test out lying on the mattresses before buying it really helped us to make our final decisions.

Have visited two branches of Benson for Beds and been impressed by the quality of their staff. Michael in the Kettering store is knowledgeable about the products, sensitive to customer needs and a pleasure to do business with.
