I was a distributor and pioneer for betterware for about 4 months. I found the products pricey the other side of Christmas but nothing compared to how they are now. The price has gone up about 30% on many of the items between December and January but the conversion from sterling to euro (I am in the Republic of Ireland) is between 36 and 40% difference on average which is way above the currency conversion rate of 1.2 When i queried it with the owner himself he told me if i didnt like it I could resign. He reckons that as the CEO he doesnt have to answer to the distributors. This is not a bit like any network marketing company I have ever worked with before. You are treated more like employees and the pressure to sell and meet unreasonable targets is crazy! Glad I am out of there.
Un wanted Catalogues
Contacted the local distributor a while back to request they stop putting a pack outside of my deceased mum's home - still happening, the pack sits on the doorstep like a beacon, we might as well put a big sign outside advertising the property is vacant. Not sure but if it does not stop I think we can have recourse via the regulator. Shame really because my Mum & Dad and Grandparents have all been customers down the decades.
Disgusting Company
Absolutely disgusting attitude from a company.
I signed up to be a distributor and did it for about 8 months, however with Covid it's difficult delivering catalogues and I didn't have the customer base for the online shop.
So paying out £40 per month for catalogues and a webshop to not make any profits was too much and I asked to cancel being a distributor.
They then told me I had to stay for year but would accept 3 months notice instead, costing me the above amount without an income to pay this.
So I said no and they cancelled everything and have even not paid my last little bit of commission.
So unless your fit and healthy and can walk the streets getting orders, I would consider doing other things before you sign up to this joke of a company, let's remember years ago before it went out of business the first time catalogues etc was free and finally most products they sell are cheaper in B&M, Poundland or Home Bargains.
Absolutely shocking customer service
Absolutely shocking customer service. All they care about is money and sending out items already used and accuse for other bits. Wouldn't recommend not even to my enime.
Don’t be sucked in to selling this…
Don’t be sucked in to selling this stuff.... you’ll end up worse of ... while the people above you make the money. They’ll burn you out and then call: NEXT
Ordered 2 lots of a rainbow lights
Ordered 2 lots of a rainbow lights. (One was going to a friend) They came in a flimsy plastic package and just 1 thin layer of bubble wrap.
The light I opened stopped working properly after just 3 days. I asked for a refund for both, once I returned them.
Was told that I'd be refunded for the faulty light only. Reminded the sales girl that it's my right to change my mind, return the product(s) and seek a refund.
She booked the UPS. I just got a reference number via FB messenger, very long and complicated. I wasn't told a time the package would be picked up. So I waited in all day.
Asked if there were an email I could have so that I could click on the link, to save me time. As I'm so involved on a project I work on, that I'm up til 4am sometimes, I fight for time. I asked the sales girl if she had an email to send me.
So that I could just click on the link. No.
So I have been waiting in. No email or text to say when UPS are coming. I have to leave the flat soon... Had to wait to get in the shower in case UPS turn up.
I did NOT need this stress, as I have PTSD from the project I work on.
The sales girl (Nicki) told me to download the UPS app. But the app said that it could; "Read and change your data on a number of websites." And "Read your browsing history!" So I did NOT download the UPS app.
I will NEVER use Betterware again. I did not need this stress or HUGE time wasting, and appalling customer service.
Fast dispatch, and the products we've ordered do work well
I've previously purchased a windproof umbrella from Betterware (about 8 years ago) which is sturdy and a clever design that actually works. Moreover, the umbrella is still going strong!
Two days ago, I ordered some freezer deicer spray from them, and was pleasantly surprised when it arrived well-packaged, via courier today. I expected delivery to be via Royal Mail and to take a week or so. Fast dispatch, good products (although they do sell some tat as well!) and good value. I felt they deserved a decent review as a result.
customer service is a joke
i purchased a silicone iron plate cover to prevent scorching of clothes. it disintegrated and melted during regular use within a month. I returned the item and was sent a replacement which went missing in the mail. I sent the proof of this from Royal Mail. I was then told that it would need to be investigated etc etc. I literally could not be bothered with all the back and forth emails, so told them it was not worth the hassle. When i contacted them a few weeks later to see if they were still looking into this, they told me i had said it wasn't worth the hassle and even sent me a screenshot of my email! the same one that they didn't even acknowledge nor try to win back my custom. I shall not buy from them ever again, despite their almost daily emails offering the latest deals!! Absolute rubbish the item was.

Just reading betterware has gone bust 17th April 2118. Apparently suffering a cash flow crisis; triggering nearly 100 job losses. Not surprising really they did sell alot of tat. Useless stuff nobody ever wanted.

Been waiting since August to receive my goods that ave been paid for. Contacted customer service who said area manager would contact as of today not heard although I have emailed them three times now
Do not buy marble coated frying pans from Betterware
I bought a red marble coated frying pan supposed to be suitable for induction hobs! It has marked my hob with red dye from the base of the pan and everything sticks to it! I can’t believe Betterware can market it as non stick! It must contravene trade descriptions! Waste of money!
Excellent Customer Service
I cannot fault the service on returning a damaged item.(courier damage likely) I notified them of the issue through the website and I had a personal phone call the next day from a very pleasant member of the team to discuss the problem and how to return the item. As the return postage would not have been cost effective, they asked for photographs. By the time I had logged on to e mail the photos, the refund had already been processed.
Things do get damaged/are faulty but if it can be sorted out quickly and without fuss then that is a sign of a trustworthy company
But with confidence.
DO NOT WORK FOR BETTERWARE. I REPEAT, DO NOT WORK FOR BETTERWARE!!!
Im a college student, 17, I was looking for a part time job alongside my studies and I stumbled upon this Betterware advert. It sounded too good to be true. And as it turns out, it was all empty promises.. I committed about 15 hours of my spare time delivering catalogues, sorting out paperwork, picking up drenched catalogues from stinky houses, and in return I get about nothing. I quit after my first week of doing the job. I made £2 approx for that week's hard work.. I had to carry heavy trolley bag around 200 houses in order to distribute these stupid catalogues that no one even wants. Literally, as I was distributing the catalogues around, I felt like I was invading people's privacy, as I had to put these catalogues in their doors. People would look at me like im delivering bombs in their houses, and with every chance they get they would quickly say 'no thanks' before I even got to their door to slip in a catalogue. It was a horrible experience where I committed lots of work for basically no pay. You had to do it in all kinds of weather too. In the end when I quit, my area manager was very rude and basically forced me to do work for no pay!!! I refused and she grumpily collected the customers order paper work but decided that she didnt want the remaining 50 catalogues in my house that I refused to deliver because I wasnt going to get anything from it. So the highlight of the story is, DONT WORK FOR BETTERWARE. ITS A SCAM.
Perfect Job to bring your family up
Who'd have thought 19 years ago, I'd have been looking for a part time job to pay for an holiday & still be working for the same company all them years later, my girls have grown up & left home now & still it's a perfect job to fit around the family, being a catalogue distributor is the best thing I could have ever done, no costs involved, exclusive area to work, needless to say I get stopped when out shopping by customers askng for a catalogue, there's incentives all year round & a nice fat bonus cheque each year too, should have £600 in my hand by the end of June, that will go nicely towards another holiday. Can't beat it, I love my job :-)
I look ridiculous
Everything else I ordered is fine but this turban…well. Having expected a round piece of cotton towelling material I ended up with what can only be described as a pixie hat.
There are no instructions, we can't work out how to use it…several family members have tried without success. We are not stupid.
On the upside we have had such a laugh.
If you don't want to go out looking like a lopsided elf I wouldn't recommend this product.
Probably great for fancy dress.
Seriously Betterware. Amongst brilliant items why have you got this….

Just wanted to let everyone know what a thoroughly good product it was!!

return process is not fair
i bought one cereal dispenser for £ 22.99, after 5 months its faulty so i send it back through registered post, but they refused to refund or exchange, even though they offered 12 months guarantee on catalogue. so i lost 22.99+ 7.90 (for post)

Beware - Returns process is dreadful
Their prices might be competitive and delivery is fairly quick. But you had better hope your items do not need to be returned! Mine were faulty so I thought contacting them and being instructed to use their pre-paid returns label would be fairly straightforward.
Far from it. Their returns label has been chosen so it can only cope with parcels up to 1kg maximum. If you want to return anything heavier than that - well, good luck and brace yourself for a truly inefficient and miserable experience.
Better still - buy your product elsewhere even if it is a few pence more expensive!
