Lovely fabrics, unclearly priced, poor customer service
Beyond the Pink Door has a beautiful selection of luxurious fabrics, which initially made me very excited to order. I ordered through the shopify platform. However, the website advertised what appeared to be a major sale (some from around £26 per metre down to £1–£2), but when my order arrived, I received only very small pieces of fabric, not metre lengths. The pricing and quantities on the website were unclear and misleading.
When I contacted the shop to resolve this, my emails were ignored. After eventually getting a response via Facebook Messenger, the owner was dismissive and refused to acknowledge any pricing errors. I was later told a refund had been issued, but my bank confirmed no refund was made; I was eventually informed this was actually a credit note.
While the fabrics themselves are lovely, the customer service was very poor. I would advise caution when ordering and not to rely on the website pricing.
