Warning to parents

Warning to parents. Well, where do I start , if I could rate this school I would give it 0 stars it's a disgrace. My child started in September and was late once( not even 5 minutes) in 4 months because an ambulance blocked the road I tried to inform school but the it's hard for reception to lift and answer. I got a warning letter for attendance because she was late once. The teachers would starve my child at lunch time by giving her detention because she had studs in. There is no communication with the school they never answer the phone. Teachers are patronising, and do nothing if you're getting bullied or lose bag or coat. My child is very happy now leaving this school.

DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS SCHOOL

personally do not enjoy coming to the school. School is meant to be a safe place for students but more students want to find excuses to not come to school. The students thats have joined from 2020 onwards have been the worst years ever, take everything not so serious, running around corridors, skiving, talking back to teachers, having fights, skipping school. vaping in the toilet, can’t even use the toilet anymore since all the girls do is hang about in there and many of the toilets don’t function so no toilets for a lot of the girls in there. Teachers giving excuse to girls who should be removed from school and letting then off, lots of teachers are happy to leave not one of them we’re actually sad to leave, teachers are becoming more and more tired and drained. Girls who actually want to learn cant learn since there is so much commotion outside from girls who can’t behave them selves. Lots of girls have experienced bullying there, even if they tell you you to tell them what’s happened it does not make any difference. girls love to instigate other girls businesses and the teachers just sit back and watch. i recommend to not apply for this school, it’s a stock of failures who can’t get any grades (well some of them).

Appalling management

The following is an honest review with no exaggeration and nothing but the truth. The school may have once been one of the best in West Yorkshire but has since gone downhill. Most if not all the ‘good’ teachers have left and when I write good I mean those that were sincerely working to enhance the student’s knowledge of a subject area. Now the majority are supply teachers wanting to leave early, aren’t bothered about the outcome of learning. The heads have had more time off than on, bullying is at an all time high but was is making the school go downhill is the management who are just not bothered as long as they (the few) are loyal to each other, they will not take any form of criticism from concerned parents ignoring it altogether. Do your upmost to avoid unless you just want to tick the box of your child attending a school !!

BGGS school it is the WORST!!!!!!!

BGGS school it is the WORST!!!!!!!
The teachers are not experienced at teaching, most of them talk about their own life rather than teaching and they all have favouritism. The bullying is absolutely horrendous, most off the girls in that school do not want to learn and ruin others learning they also be really mean to others they run around corridors and disturb others. The school is Outrageously bad teachers only support the students they like. Mrs Sharmen (Williams) walks away from students when they try to talk to her. No matter how much you report bullying it will never get sorted and the teachers DON'T teach.
Mrs Aujla has Magor favouritism.
DO NOT recommend this school at all If you do go to bggs Be prepared to be in a school of bullying and non teaching.

My childrens attend this school and…

My childrens attend this school and have progressed and gained their confidence throughout the years. Stop writing negative reviews based on 1 bad experience you may have encounted parents need to keep an eye on their children to see if they are keeping up with the school work or faling behind instead of expected the teachers to do everything. I would also like to say Mrs Mears is a assest to the school always smiling polite and willing to go the extra mile to help out. Keep up the good work.

Disrespectful staff !

Horrible staff and system. They wouldn’t let my disabled mother who has a blue badge enter the school to drop off food for a school party and made her walk up hill multiple times with trays. Previously she has experienced rude behaviour from the Head teachers PA. She was arrogant and discriminative shutting the car door on my mother. Never met such stuck up rude staff before. Wouldn’t recommend the school unless you want our children to turn out spoilt, rude and disrespectful.

extremely negligent, incompetent and unstable school

extremely negligent, incompetent and unskilled staff specially in primary section where my son goes. very very high rate of instability of teaching staff. since 4 years in a row, not a single teacher stayed for whole session. they all leave in the mid way and substitute staff only passes time until a permanent teacher is found which regularly fails to create bonding, understanding and trust with the kids. not safe for kids at all. staff uses false accusations to put complaints to the rest instead of investigating it and cites policies that does not exist to hold parents from accessing senior school principal and governors so nothing can be done formally. the senior school itself rejected the access policy told by the primary school when i contacted them.

i suggest that you shall not consider this school for your kids at any cost. roam around and obtain the real reviews before making any decision about any school. its the future and moreover the personality of your kid at stake.
