Poor service, poor online support.
Placed an order over the weekend. Took nearly a working week to contact me to state, “Unfortunately we are unable to fulfill your order. The order has been cancelled and refunded” baring in mind website states product still in stock. No actual reason given.
As a Tradesman and needing reliable service and companies, this is not one of them.

THESE GUYS- Neil Bumford(Managing Director) and Ian are absolute Gentlemen. Men who know what they are doing chasing one thing only CUSTOMER SATISFACTION WHILE COMING UP WITH QUICK and EFFECTIVE SOLUTIONS and DELIVERING.

I needed a new toilet pan and seat for a refit of my bathroom. I was quite specific about the brand and style that I wanted, so turned to the internet to see what was available.
BHL appeared (using Google) along the top of the screen in the “sponsored products” section. I checked them out, the products were in stock and I read the small print on the website. I was happy with the service they offered and I was made to understand that the items may be shipped direct from the supplier. Their prices by the way were the best I could find!!
In my case, the toilet and seat were sent from the supplier to a distributer prior to being delivered to me. Overall, it took two weeks before the items arrived which was absolutely fine, and the order confirmation clearly stated not to book a plumber/builder/professional until you have your products at your home/site.
In an ideal world, it would have been great to be automatically kept informed as to which stage of the process your products are at, although I appreciate this is not an easy thing to do when you may get a combination of items, some of which many be from them, and some may be direct from the manufacturer. The positive side though was that I called BHL to ask about an update (a week or so after placing my order) and Lee, the Internet Department Manager informed me about my items and then personally kept in touch via email up to the point they were delivered.
For the prices, but MAINLY FOR THE SERVCE, BHL deserve 10 out of 10! They’ll definitely have my business in the future and I hope by reading this review you gain confidence that they’ll be the right supplier for you.

A first class company to deal with indeed. dispatch and subsequent delivery were very quick indeed making this a brilliant company to deal with.
The radiator was fitted as the warmer weather began so true testing and opinions were impossible.
The Myson radiators I prefer as they hold the hot water longer due to more volume compared to others and this is no exception. The Myson is slightly taller than the one it replaced but the heat output is much higher than the original without doubt.

Placed ordered on 17th June 2025, still no items and company are refusing to issue refund, I have all emails correspondence, until they decided to ignore my last email, have tracking number that proves delivery was never attempted to me just returned to BHL, they are most unhelpful and very long delivery times anyway, will not use or recommend this company, going through my credit card company to get my money back.

Delivery quick. Best price available. Hose works perfectly, just what I wanted.

Recently ordered a very reasonably priced garden dining set which arrived on time and as described.
Unfortunately two of the plastic feet had been lost in transit, after communication with Lee at BHL two replacements feet where located and posted to me.

Would highly recommend BHL for price and service

Order placed and paid for. Still not delivered 3 weeks later, no communication from seller. I have had to claim refund through Paypal. Avoid this retailer.

This is by far the worst company that I have dealt with on line. Misrepresented the truth from the outset. Advertised stock they didn't have. Knocked back the delivery date continually. On top of that the guy on the phone was f.cking rude. 'Tough luck mate' its the 26th at the earliest. Avoid at all costs

Ordered 3 Bosch TRVs and received immediate confirmation of order. I didn't receive any shipment notification so emailed a few days later to chase it up.

I very quickly received an email from Lee who confirmed a delivery date. The items did turn up on this date, which was a nice surprise!

Thanks to BHL, I can rest easy as these Bosch TRVs are very hard to find as they're now discontinued.

BHL has taken 5 day to advise me that my online order cannot be completed and my order has been cancelled- I had to contact this incompetent company myself by email to be told this news, I wonder if they would have bothered if I had not contacted them?
They took my money quick enough but have not returned it as yet!
I placed another order with a different company just after this purchase was made and received that order in full on Saturday 23/11 with no problems!
What an extremely bad service, I will not be using BHL again!

I placed my order on 8th October & instantly received confirmation.
I emailed on 14th October to ask for an anticipated delivery date and never received a response.
I emailed on 21st October and said due to no response and no product I was going to make a claim through my bank. They suddenly replied within less than 2 minutes, made the excuse they hadn't received the email & there stock had been delayed.

A bit of advice BHL - *Update your customers!*

If you sent an email saying: "Due to issues with our suppliers we are now expecting delivery to yourself by X date" I might of thought 'ahh ok I will hang on'

Not able to comment fully or give a full opinion of my experience as I am yet to receive the goods.
When the request to review BHL was received it was after the delivery window and had I not chased up delivery direct with BHL I would still be in the dark as why my goods have been delayed as there was no communication from them I had to drive the process.
Will update once goods have been received.

Quick delivery, up to my door on 2nd floor, item reasonably priced. All round good experience.

Excellent hose but a little tricky to install as no template included to help screw in.

Absolute first class service, care and attention - I won't hesitate to return, should the need arrise. Thank you, BHL - your Customer Service was excellent.

Needed a part in good time so I could fit it whilst scaffolding was still in place. Suggested delivery time (1 to 5 days) was missed by a long way. I chased to get a delivery date and was told I would get it on Aug 1st. It arrived on August 3rd. Total time from order to delivery was 16 days. Everything BHL said about delivery times was wrong so why bother saying anything at all!

The spare part I needed arrived quickly and in good condition. Thank you for your service.
