First bad experiences

I just received the bike and rode it once. The delivery and assembly went quickly and smoothly. Unfortunately, I already experienced a few issues during installation. The included headlight doesn't work because the batteries had completely leaked into the light, making it unusable. I also ordered a bike lock that should be mounted to the bike. Unfortunately, this isn't possible because there are no holes or screw options on the bike. So I have to order a separate part from another webshop. After the first ride, I quickly noticed that the brakes weren't working optimally and the bike mount was falling off. A major safety issue. I took it to the bike shop to have it checked, and they quickly indicated that the brake pads were of very poor quality because they were much too hard and the chain wasn't properly made. I had this repaired. So far, I've had nothing but bad experiences since I first owned the bike. I hope the bike works better now, but so far I've spent more money than expected and haven't had much enjoyment from the purchase.

NEVER AGAIN - GARBAGE BIKES & SERVICE

After purchasing a bike for 2k $ i had nothing but problems. The breaks didn´t work, the chain broke and jumped off almost every ride, the pedal broke when I was carrying my kid in the bike trailer and we nearly had an accident. The batteries stopped working three times in less than two years. They took forever to reply and refused to help causing longer rides without light and almost 500 $ in spending to fix everything.
If you want a bike that is shiny on insta but absolutly useless in a city, the super unfriendly people from Biciclasica, especially mr. Adrían García will surely help you burn your money. Just because you throw fancy components like breaks and saddle at a frame doesn´t mean you end up with a decent product.
I got fooled by their marketing. Don´t make the same mistake. There are very nice alternatives out here.

Don’t buy this bike : bas quality

The bike looks beautiful, but it’s honestly the worst quality bike I’ve ever owned. The derailleur is terrible, and the chain keeps coming off no matter what I do. I’ve invested a lot of money trying to get it fixed, but it still doesn’t work properly. Don’t buy this bike — it’s just not worth the trouble.

Very satisfied with my Capri bike

I have had a Capri Bike for two years and am very satisfied. Recently, the battery interfaces were not functioning properly, and customer service immediately performed a remote check and subsequently repaired the battery. It is now functioning perfectly again.

CCO: "5 year warranty is a "layout error"

Their Chief Commercial Officer called the 5-year warranty a “layout error.” Let’s be honest – that’s just false advertising!

I bought the Azur e-bike three years ago.
Delivery was delayed, parts were missing, and when replacements were sent, they were incorrect. It was a frustrating back-and-forth from the beginning.

Now, three years later, the battery is dead. I didn’t want to deal with this company again, so I tried to simply buy a new one – no warranty claim, just a replacement. But the battery now costs double the original price – €600 – and it’s out of stock.
So I had no choice but to submit a warranty claim.

Their website clearly showed a 5-year warranty – including on the battery. I took screenshots. After I sent them, the company quietly changed the website and told me there is only a 2-year warranty, and none on the battery.

Very disappointing experience. Truly a shame.

Dear customer, this review is not reflecting the current situation, Batteries may have different period of warranties as stated under EU Warranty Laws, and in any case we offered you a replace or repair of the battery even out of that period, but you refuse that. Just let us know what you want and we will be happy to assist, but don't ask us to send 2 new batteries as that wouldn't be fair.

Bad customer service

I ordered a bike to be shipped to Ireland as a birthday present. After three months, there was still no sign of the bike, despite multiple emails requesting that I update my address—even though my address has never caused issues with any other company. Eventually, I had to issue a chargeback through my bank to get my money back.

Poor Quality and Customer Service

Your answer is simply not true.
I have sent multiple emails that went unanswered for long periods. In fact, I had to post this review just to get a reply. Saying that there are "no pending emails" is simply not true.
The battery was offered as compensation for the delayed delivery by your team and I sent you the email proving it. And you are now telling me that an offer made by an old employee is not "a formal order" and is void.
While you claim the bike meets EU standards, it does not come with the required homologation certificate, which was advertised on your website. In some countries, like France, this document is necessary to apply for subsidies. Because of this missing paperwork, I lost €400 in financial aid.
So no : Your bike does not have all CE certifications

I had a very disappointing experience with the bike Capri Azur.

- The bike was delivered two months late. They promised to send me a free battery to make up for it, but I never received it.

- The bike arrived with missing screws, one of the pedals broke after just a few uses, and the lights don’t work. They sent me a replacement pedal, but this shouldn't have happened with a brand-new bike.

- Their website claims that the bike comes with homologation papers, but I never received them.

- Worst of all, customer service has completely stopped responding to my emails.

For such an expensive bike, I expected much better quality and support. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend these bikes based on my experience.

7 months of waiting and fails, and never been able to ride the bike.

Ordered the Berlin Electric Capri bike 29 September 2024, to only receive it December 6, 2024!! After many messages asking when my bike was coming(?!) It came with all the wrong accessories. I had to leave the bike at the service centre in Rotterdam, so they could order and receive the right accessories and change them. There the most essential part of the bike broke 2 times(!!) when changing the chain-guard, making it an even longer wait. February 6th 2025, I was finally able to come pick-up the bike. The chain came off 3 times within about 100meters, and the 3rd time it completely broke. This was my first bike ride! I had 4,5 months of waiting and everything that could go wrong, went wrong and I never wrote on the bike!
I've tried calling biciclasica (nr +34 985 331 777 today 5 times, and yesterday 2 times) and nobody is picking up... I've send emails that I'd like to get a refund and don't feel safe riding the bike, but all of a sudden I don't get any reply's on my mails nor on the return request via the website.
They can have the bike with all the accessories back, I want my money in return.

Biciclasica, the problem is still not resolved.
I could send the bike back, and I'd get a full refund minus the costs for shipping. Bike is picked up by Fedex. Accessories where supposed to be pickup by GLS.. this never happened. I eventually send it back myself, and paid for these costs myself. I could see the package was received now a week ago. I emailed twice, asking if they could confirm receiving the package and I could now receive my refund. They are not emailing me back. They now have BOTH my money and the bike.. Next step is getting the law involved.
Bear with me, it has been SEVEN months now.

You received the bike and you wanted some
personalised components such us the
chaingiard.
The store were you decided to pickup the bike made a mistake and broke some cables, so we send new electric parts for replacement.

We always deal on time with the requirements and the damages were caused by the store but we agree on send new parts for free 2 times.

We understand your point of view and so we are happy to help with your case.

Your one star review is something we understand and even if it was not our fault we will deal with your case as we want you to enjoy your bike as we do with ours.

300 km Update

As of today I've put 300 km on my new Metz. I literally cannot find a single thing to complain about with this bike. It is fantastic.

Warning: Don't purchase from Biciclasica!

I purchased a bicycle from Biciclasica and was deeply disappointed by both the product quality and the company's customer service. The bike arrived with several serious issues:

The front wheel wobbles.
The brake assembly is poorly constructed.
One crucial screw doesn’t function.
The gear change system doesn’t work.
I contacted their customer service multiple times to report these issues and requested a resolution, (including a local repair arrangement so it wouldn't be sent back for the sake of the environment). Despite waiting patiently and offering to provide evidence of the issues, I have received absolutely no response.

This lack of accountability and basic customer service is unacceptable. I regret my purchase and strongly advise others not to buy from Biciclasica. The company is more interested in making dishonest money than in selling decent products or ensuring their customers are satisfied.

The purchase process was very simple… and reliable!!

The purchase process was very simple and I was followed up until the day the bike arrived. Assembly was simple, following the video provided. The e-Vita Capri is a beautiful, timeless, well-built bike that allows good times cycling (in style!). I recommend it!

No bike, no refund, nothing. Do not buy!

I was not informed that production would take longer. Only when I sent an inquiry did they respond. They were not accommodating either, they just hoped that I would wait.

But then it took too long and I asked for my money back. That was ages ago now. The website says “30-day money back guarantee”, but instead of sending the money, I received an email saying “Do you really want your money back, we'll send it soon”. Then I had to write 4-5 times, from three different addresses and me in the cc, before I was told by email that the refund was started and the colleagues from the finance department would transfer the money to me.

That hasn't happened yet either. After another two weeks, I asked again where the money was and have still not received an answer. No bike and no money. On the internal page it says that my refund is still being processed, although I have received the answer from “Dani” that it has now been completed.

The service is really bad, even the providers on Aliexpress answer faster and have a better service.

I wonder when the money will arrive or whether I will have to take legal action.

Never again.

Update after the answer:
You wrote: "(...) We are very sorry to hear about the incident with your order. We have checked that everything has been sorted out. (...)"

That's a lie, you did not check anything because nothing is sorted out. I am still waiting for the refund, and nothing but excuses were sent.

Charged the full amount for a bike and…

Charged the full amount for a bike and its delivery to Denmark. After two days realised that the delivery would cost them more than they anticipated, so they asked me to pay the extra 130 EUR. When they failed - they cancelled the order with some made-up reasons about the possible warranty issues. Hope I at least will get my money back. What a waste!

I appreciate the honesty, guys, but you could've just shipped the bike in that case. 130 EUR. Is that something that makes a really big difference for a company claiming to be "Europe's No. 1 online store for classic bikes"? And I still didn't get my money back by the way.
