Dean and co were very experienced in their products.
On visiting the factory we went for 2x Schueco bifolds.
No other doors had the wow factor.
The process was very straightforward.

Because of delays on site BDF pushed back delivery.
Understanding all that construction throws up.
You couldn’t ask for more.

We had a large sliding door, side panel and patio door from Schuco Mande and installed by bifold door factory. The doors have leaked constantly and the patio door key sticks to the point we are just about to break it.

As this exit is from the kitchen, should there be a fire in the kitchen we could be stuck with no way of getting out.

I have been trying to get bifold door factory to resolve these issues since March 2020 with over 15 emails sent to them and a just the occasional response saying they are looking at it.

One engineer came to resolve the lock which was sticking again the next day.

The leaks out still outstanding although an engineer is scheduled for November but lack of information from bifold door factory with regards to what they will be doing - apparently they may remove the frames which will mean re-plastering and painting.

Requests for further information with regards to this via email and phone calls has resulted in promises to provide this information the next day but with no call backs and no email responses.

I am sure we’ll installed doors are fine but if you have issues and you need to get them resolved then the support and levels of customer service from bifold door factory is disgusting.

So, at last bifold door factory have turned up to fixed the doors. They reseated them, lifted them, replaced the rubber seals and re-siliconed around the doors. The door now locks, and it looks like the condensation has stopped. Will monitor and see what happens, and update again in a month.

So - we have now been monitoring for a while, and, even through bifold door factory worked on the doors, they still are not airtight. They let air in, even when locked, and as such, condensation forms on the inside of the door (and adjacent full height window), and as a result we have mouldy door, and black mouldy walls.

We also have had our builders around to try and work out what could be happening. They removed the plasterboard walls around the door to find that bifold door factory had not properly sealed the door around the from a when they installed it and as such you could see air between the door and the door frame.

31st Jan 2021, Contacted Bifold Door Factory and Schueco (as they doors are made by Schueco) to see how we get this resolved...

One good thing - The locks seems to be working now after the engineers came over last time.

The install team worked safely and were very professional; the build area was left clean and tidy.

Clear, honest and open communication. Bifold Door Factory were a pleasure to deal with, and when my project was delayed, they were able to move installation around at relatively short noticed. Dean was clear with the options of the differences between the brands of door that they offered that helped us to understand why the costs were different. Dean was a real pleasure to work with, and if we need anything additional in the future, I will happily pick up the phone to him.

The bi-fold doors look wonderful and were fitted in one day. The two fitters were professional, on time and seemed (understandably) proud of the work. The installation date was put back from the original date given, but staff were friendly.

After building a new kitchen extension we wanted to have bifold doors.

They came measured up,gave us a price we were happy with.
Few weeks later we have a very classy aluminum bifold door plus additional window.

Be aware that if you decide to sell your property within the warranty period Bifold Door Factory will stop guaranteeing their windows. All the skylight windows supplied to our property by this company have failed within 2.5 years of being installed and are now permanently fogged over, with the seals coming free inside the glazing. The company have acknowledged their failure but refusing to stand by their guarantee due to a loophole in the terms and conditions. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU USE A COMPANY REGISTERED WITH THE GGF (Glass and Glazing Federation) to avoid an upsetting and expensive situation a couple of years down the line.

This is the second house that I have used Schueco doors and windows supplier bifolddoorfactory Their service is great and their prices are unbeatable (unless you want to completely compromise quality). Installation went pretty much like clockwork and a couple of minor issues were fixed quickly. I can definitely recommend them.

I had a roof lantern installed with these guys. With some real heavy rain water started leaking into the house one evening. Not a small leak, to the point I had to have several buckets and empty through the night. The next day I had 3 roofers out to assess what we thought may be the fibre glass roof of which all 3 which 2 of them specialised in fibre roofs said the roof was sound, there was a gap where the lantern was installed where water was trickling over in the heavy rain. I got in contact Bi fold the very next day and sent pictures and videos. I was told I would get a call back. I called back a couple days later as no one had been in touch and the roof was still leaking. I had to tarp over the area to avoid further damage. Finally a visit was arranged almost a week later. I was told to make sure someone is at home in the afternoon which I did. The company finally turned up about 4.30pm by which it was too dark to see anything so could not assess. The guys that turned up mentioned they advised the company before heading over it was too dark to make an assessment but were told to come anyway. When I got home that evening I called the company twice and was told on both occasions that I would get a call back that day. To no surprise no call.
I followed up with the company again the next morning and again did not hear anything back until the following morning which the message was that it would be looked at today. Again nothing was sorted and I had no call or discussion with the company. Over the weekend the tarp did not hold and with further heavy rain forecast on the Monday, I had to pay someone else to come sort the area out on a Sunday. It was also apparent his company did not care at all. There was already damage to my home now and with wood flooring throughout, the longer I left these guys to mess me around the more damage would be caused. i prefer to refer to the company rather than names but one name I would call out is Michelle. I think she did her upmost to help me out but it the others behind the scene that frankly didn't give a damn.
Quite clear that you're lower down the priority than a sale or installation, regardless of the situation. Suggest you read the other 1 star reviews!

Ordered a 3 x panel Bi-Fold door after doing a bit of research with some other Bi-Fold door manufacturers. Decided on going with the Bi-Fold Door Factory based on competitive price and after seeing their feature on 'Grand Designs'. I went for the Schuco brand after seeing some other manufacturers at the Home & Renovation Show in Farnborough, as the quality and reputation was superior. Had a good experience with the Team, from initial contact with Sales, to the surveyor and finally the install. Happy to say the install went fantastic with no issues and the door has made such an enhancement to the refurb project.
