Outstanding product even more impressive company behind it!
I purchased my first set of BigEar earplugs in 2008 for both my firearm training and motorcycle riding.
The first set was stolen with my bike and BigEar replaced hassle free (insurance covered the cost) but quickly I was riding again with the perfect ear protection and sound advantage.
More than 10 years later I'm ready to upgrade to the newer tech and BigEar using my ear impression from 10+ years ago will be building me another great product. The chat with Glen (the founder) made the entire purchase simple and easy. Great product with a great company behind it!!

19” Audio Cable is Poor Quality
I rate the dual transducer in ear monitors as excellent! Well made that deliver incredible sound especially for their size. They are superior to in helmet speakers.
However, the audio cable they came with is far too long so I ordered the 19” cable. Unfortunately, the quality of the shorter cable is subpar with one of the connectors coming loose from the transducer while the other connector surprisingly stays in plays which indicates poor and inconsistent manufacturing with little quality control. For that reason I am rating these 1 Star.
They should never have been shipped out to customers.
Glenn has been available to help rectify but the solution is a patch. I will try the alternate recommended fix but if that fails I will request a refund. I don’t recommend ordering the shorter cable until new designs are available.

Glenn is awesome
Glenn is awesome! I contacted Glenn to make sure I was ordering the right type of earplugs for wearing under a snug full face helmet. He was very patient with explaining all the differences between the earplugs. I'm glad he spent the time to answer all my questions. The earplugs feel very comfortable and I should be able to wear them all day without any issues.
