1 star is too many, very poor after sales.

Bought an IQ 360 about 5 months ago. the quick look button on the side of the handle sheered off . Sent a request to Big Max asking for a replacement to be sent, at my own cost. They said it was a warranty issue and we would have to go through their website for a claim. It is very clear to me ,after several attempts to do this, that they make it so difficult that most people will just forget it and NEVER buy anything Big Max again ,like me.
I chose Big Max because I thought it was a premium brand, it is certainly a premium price but the after sales is quite frankly rubbish . Strongly recommend ANY other brand.I wish I had read reviews before buying .

Poor customer service

Very Poor customer experience. they don't honour their warranty policy. Bought a brand new Big Max Hybrid 14.0 bag, and six months down the line, the legs are bust. Have taken great care of the bag as I do with my clubs in general. Stay away!!

Loved my Silencio, customer service poor

Loved my Silencio, had it for just less than 5 years then the rain hood zip broke. 5 year warranty (which is great) but now I have been without a golf bag now for 9 weeks and counting. Not impressed with this. I purchased my wife a Big Max Dri Lite cart golf bag on 3/8/23 and now the rain hood zip broke. Sent all the information to Big Max(registered the bag). But Big Max will not honour the warranty as it was a replacement bag?

big max iq360 broken front wheel

I bought a big max iq360, within 18 months the plastic which connects the front wheel to the actual trolley frame snapped.

Thinking big max would be a good company to deal with aftercare was a big mistake.

Customer services extremely slow to help and then it felt like they were trying every little wiggle to get out of replacing or repairing my golf trolley.

I have now purchased a new Moto caddy trolley to use and will never be entertaining anything from big max again.

Plus it was hard to get any accessories for the trolley as there website is so confusing and they never have any stock in for parts. 18 months without having any umbrella qf attachments

NON existent service when product fails

I bought over 5 hybrid standbags and 1 tour bag in the past 9 months from Big Max Golf in South Africa. After a month the vinyl material on the tour bag started peeling off and saw a tear in the back of the bag near the strap joint. I contacted the owner David Shaw and now nine months later all I got was empty promises from him and lately not even a reply back. Big Max golf does not provide any after sales service and very ignorant to complaints. I would suggest NOT to buy any of their products due to the “ we wil gladly take your money” attitude. I will never support them again.

Thanks for the amazing service!

Having bought a Dri Lite golf bag from BIG MAX Golf 2.5 years ago, I recently encountered an issue with a broken zipper. Thanks to the warranty extension, their customer service responded promptly, taking care of the problem with efficiency and no hassle. The swift handling of my warranty claim was impressive and much appreciated.

not very durable

Had a big max hybrid stand bag for just over a year now and have already encounterd a number of problems with it.
one of the zips has broken and another is on the wayout the grab handle on the base of the bag which you use to lift it into the car has started to come unstiched as well.
add to this one of the support rods keeps poping out from the support legs. definitely not the sort of quality you expect from an item costing close to 200 pounds.
if your looking for a product that lasts i would go elsewhere.

Great product until it breaks

I have owned a BIG MAX Golf trolley for a number of years and it has been fantastic. When the brake cable snapped (which was probably my fault ) I thought I wouldn't have a problem buying a spare from bigmax. Unfortunately as mentioned in other reviews they don't seem to carry any spare parts, the costumer service is very poor and strung me along for a while with empty promises. I have managed to cobble up a repair with parts from Ebay. They brand themselves as a world leader but do not stock consumable spares for an expensive product. Poor

Bought a Big Max Dri Lite Sport golf…

Bought a Big Max Dri Lite Sport golf bag. Had a problem with the zip. I contacted their Austrian hq by mistake. They dealt with the issue promptly by passing the details to the Uk. Tracey then dealt with the issue and resolved it quickly and in a very pleasant manner. I found their after sales service to be first rate.

Purchased Big Max Aqua Tour for myself…

Purchased Big Max Aqua Tour for myself and big max aqua sport for my wife.
Zips on both bags failed after 12 months, company replaced one bag , and one hood for the other bag. After less than six months noticed marks on my brand new driver shaft, found its caused by the rivets sticking out into the pockets and damaging the driver shafts. I checked my wife's bag and her driver shaft is damaged as well.
Been in touch with the company and so far have hearing nothing from them. £450 worth of golf bags , £700 worth of carbon shafts damaged, will never buy these bags again.

Best avoided

Bought a hybrid stand bag the stand snapped after 3weeks
Upgraded to an aqua 3 waterproof cart bag it is coming up on 2 years but I play infrequently bag has a ripped pocket zip and now a snapped carry strap my advice would be best avoided

Accessories unavailable

I purchased the Big Max Ti-LITE 3-Wheel Push Trolley last week. It has a custom interface for accessories to be attached. It has proved impossible to locate a supply for the umbrella holder. It appears that Big Max has run down stock to zero despite the product still being on the market. Clearly their self interest (not being left with redundant stock) takes precedence over not letting down the customer.
Last time I shall deal with them. They cannot be trusted.

Not standing by a 5 year warranty due to a technicality

I have a 2 year and 6 month old big max blade ip. Bought as advertised with a 5 year warranty. The leg has sheared. They acknowledge should not have happened. “I am sorry to see that you have experienced a problem with your Big Max product, this is not what we expect from our brand.” But not standing by the 5 year warranty as have to register to extend from 2 years to 5. Thus is ridiculous, it should never have happened. I will never buy from big max again

Very disappointing Big Max Golf Trolley

I purchased a Big Max Blade IP push golf trolley. For £250.
I was really disappointed with the trolleys build quality.
The mechanism for both of the back wheels virtually disinterested after little over a dozen rounds of golf making the trolley totally unusable.
The trolley was 10 days past a 2 year warranty and dispite very little use due to Covid,Big Max were unsympathetic and refused to replace our repair it
Also having spoken to other golfers who've purchased the Big Max BladeIP and similarly designed 3 wheel Big Max models ,It's common that the front wheel cloggs up with mud around the guard, once this happens the front wheel doesn't rotate freely, its tiresome and not an easy process having to free it up on the course.
Making Big Max 3 wheel trolleys in my opinion unsuitable for use on a lot of British course's in the winter months.

Aqua Hybrid 3, Simply the best golf I have owned

I bought the Aqua Hybrid three 4 months ago from Evolution Golf to replace my 7 year old Sun Mountain H2NO Staff Stand Bag which had died. In lots of ways these are similar and as a carry bag not much to choose between them although I prefer the layout of the Big Max and it balances better when carried. As a trolley bag there is no comparison the Sun mountain bag only fitted on the trolley sideways (the legs got in the way) and was satisfactory but not ideal. The Big Max bag sits on the trolley square and it is like having a proper trolley bag. I play in all conditions, if the course is open I play and the bag has been fully waterproof in the most appalling weather. It's difficult to think of any way it could be improved.

Is this the perfect bag? (No).

So I considered this the perfect bag, 14 dividers , waterproof and light with plenty of pockets , However the first bag soon failed due to the stand mechanism, the customer service was great, and they sent me a replacement .
However in just a few months the same issue returned and now I will return to a Taylormade stand bag and stick the BigMax on EBay.
